I love this thing!
I asked for one of these for my birthday. (I'm 41). Our family vacations at Cape Cod, and the chair is perfect for the beach, because it's sturdy, balanced and low to the ground. When beach season ends in Vermont, the chair wound up in my son's room. They love it for video gaming, since there are no arms on the chair, it's perfect for tucking your elbows by your side and holding the gaming controls on your lap. I bought a second chair for Christmas. Now it's the second video game chair. This summer it will return to its role as the second beach chair.

Wobbly after a year
After a year or two, the chairs have become a bit wobbly. My guess is each cross-piece needs two screws instead of just one; or at least some strong glue to keep them from 'racking.' Given the price point, a bit disappointed. I have a similar set of chairs I purchased 30-years ago from Remington Furniture in Utah that, while brad-nailed, have held up much better and are much less expensive.
