Worked great until it was covered for winter.
I've had this grill for less than a year. Used it last summer. Cleaned it at the end of the summer and put the Blackstone cover that I bought for the grill as well over it for the winter. I just pulled the cover off of it and opened it up and the whole griddle is peeling and rusted everywhere. I seasoned it as directed per the manual and my mother's direction. So I don't understand why the whole non-stick surface is rusted and peeling after being under a black stone cover.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/18/2023Works great but instructions are AWFULI got the 28” with air fryer today. Problems: 1-the instructions for the side tray said use M5x15 screws. NO! They do not fit. It uses the M6x15. The M5x15 are used for the air fryer handles. 2-one of the M6 flange nuts for side top was missing (the piece is useless without it) 3-the spacer for the metal cover will not tighten down on one side leaving it feeling a bit loose 4-the instructions calls for a “hex nut” and the packaging is labeled “lock nut” 5-the instructions for the air fryer operation is GARBAGE. No where in them does it say “one side is air fryer, the other is warmer”. I had convinced myself it was broken. I had to go to YouTube to find out it does not have 2 fryers. It sounds petty, but good grief! Can you not afford to proof check your instructions or have a QC to be sure all the pieces are in the package?? On a bright note, it cooks great.Tjgill01

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/05/2022Great Improvement over 'open' grills!!Love this griddle! We are serious health food advocates and this can cook things healthier, by more 'graceful' cooking (no direct flames) as long as you pallpark the heat, so you get less charring (that I would cut off as it is not healthy to eat the black stuff) I use LARD and coconut oil only. The edges of the griddle do not run as hot, so you don't have ALL that surface at the same temp, but you can use that area to keep things warm, and not removing from grill. The QUALITY of griddle overall is VERY good! The cook surface is nice and thick, and all the parts went together very well. (Albeit there is a mistake in the manual--Use the black/bigger screws to attach the side supports for the shelves-NOT the smaller silver screws--they are for the air fryer!!). Impressed with the air fryer, it works well. And all stainless steel parts used where food touches.Richard

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/11/2022With the right parts, it could have been great!Threading for screw holes on the side shelf brackets are too large, Or screws are too small. Screw won't tighten. Tried all 8 holes with every screw provided and none of them would tighten, making it impossible to assembled completely, but unable to repackage.Mdaner

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/17/2022Fair Product, Needs RedesigningFirst, I will mention the good things: The assembly was fairly easy. All items lined up and fit as they should. I really appreciate the advertising paper being magnetically attached and not with glue that you have to remove. Now, the bad things: 1) The wheels come with the brakes engaged. This created a dimple on the wheel. When the grill was fully assembled, it rolled with a "thump-thump-thump" where the wheels were flat-spotted. This really seemed to cheapen the assembled grill. Suggestion: package the wheels with the brakes released. 2) Following the instructions for seasoning the cooking surface, I noticed the center part of the grill becoming very hot, over 500º while the outer edges remained just over 300º. This creates a very inconsistent cooking surface that is difficult to manage. I fully expected the grilling surface to be more consistent in temperature over the surface. One thing is certain, do not expect your food to cook like in the pictures of the advertising. If you lower your center temperature, the outer grill surfaces will be much cooler and not cook properly. Suggestion: add additional heat-dispersement under the grill and increase the grill thickness. Also redesign the burners so that the heat is evenly dispersed. 3) I operated the air fryer to remove and burn off the access oils from manufacturing. When I first turned it on, the fan vibrated and made a loud rattling sound. As it ran for a few minutes, more rattles appeared. I removed the back and removed the motormixerdude
