Works very well
Only problem I have is that we get a lot of rain. The instructions warn you not to mow wet grass which is very good advice. It has mowed 18 inch high grass for me (won't get that high again now that I have the mower). My lot is 1/2 acre minus the house and garage. Hilly back yard, but not hard to push for an 82 year old man. 83 in 3 months.

I'm Shocked!
I am shocked that a famous and usually quality name brand item failed so miserably in my opinion. I purchased this product based on the suggestion of a friend and with the knowledge that Black and Decker makes good products that last a long time. However, this mower kept cutting off and before I was finished mowing it blew a power fuse of my whole back side of the house! My back yard isn't even big! I still haven't gotten the power back on and I'm afraid I may have to call an electrician! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.

    Corded Lawn Mower
    The lawn mower is much lighter than my previous Black and Decker electric mower, and it does not serve as a mulching mower. . .I have to use the grass catcher. The mower does a good job on the lawn, leaving it well-groomed. What I really enjoyed about this purchase from Walmart was its free shipping and delivery to my door. Thanks, Walmart!

    You get what you pay for.
    The lawnmower does a fairly good job of cutting the lawn as I have only a small area that needs to be maintained. The switch that operates the mower is already showing signs of failure after only 3 times cutting my lawn. I am concerned that in the very near future - the lever will fail and I will not be able to use the lawnmower.

    Make Your Life Easier
    My husband had never liked the idea of owning an electric lawnmower before, as he recalled them to be not very powerful. Over the years, we've owned gas-powered mowers that were increasingly difficult to operate due to failing health on both our parts. When our last gas mower was stolen, he resorted to trimming our small suburban lawn with the weed eater. I recently made the Executive Decision to purchase an electric mower, and of course now he wishes we'd bought one sooner. While it's small, it gets the job done, and neatly. It's soooo much easier to operate. As I mentioned, our lawn is small, so this is just the perfect tool for the job. It's sturdy, and easy to maneuver. Also of note: when we purchased this, the WorkChoice 120' 16/2 Outdoor Extension Cord (lime green) was recommended as part of a bundle deal, so we bought it, too. Works well with no problems.

    Great Little Mower
    This lawn mower is small and great especially for females that HATE yardwork like me. After going through about 3 gas powered, heavy, hard to start, always running out of gas.... lawn mowers in 15 years, I decided to try an electric. I wanted to go with a time proven and well established name brand. It was easy to assemble. Worked VERY well on a normal size lot (50x150) with lots of little different angles, trees, and tight places. The cord, which I was at first concerned with, was no problem at ALL. We are all used to keeping the cord away from our vacume cleaners RIGHT. It was so easy to use, you can literally push/pull it with one hand. Thanx Black and Decker for making a great product.

    Excellent for the right application
    Assembly is a little tricky but OK. Runs great and cuts great. The cord is awkward but manageable with care. Would not want to use it on a large/normal lawn. Recommended for small area mowing and much better than needing to mess with gasoline, plug replacements, difficult start, etc. - all typical characteristics of low cost gasoline power mowers.

    good mower for the price
    This mower is good. It took some time to get used to the cord, which was expected. The only issue, was that when the bag was full of grass the back end gets heavy and the mower has a tendency to tilt back. I guess it is a good thing that it does, because then you know it is full but, not sure if it should be tilting.

    So far, so good!
    Just received and have used this mower only a couple of times, but so far I am very pleased with it. It is small, lightweight, and very easy to use - - especially in small spaces. Having to buy a heavy duty extension cord is the worst thing about it as that can be quite expensive - - but that would be true for ANY electric mower. Very satisfied with this purchase.

    Fantasti lil'mower
    Perfect lil'mower to maneuver around in a small area because it is lightweight and easy to start/stop. Cuts very well and love how easy it is to change the cutting height. I've only had it a week so have only used it once. The grass catcher was a little difficult to snap together and I thought the directions could have been clearer, but once together, it attaches to the mower easily and it's easy to take off and empty and put back on.
