An all purpose household item
BetterBody Foods Naturally Refined Organic Coconut Oil is a quality coconut oil product. The consistency of this oil allows for the oil to be used in the kitchen and also in all areas of the home. You would think 56 ounces would go to waste. Not possible. You cannot only use coconut oil for frying and cooking but in the kitchen but also for beauty and household use as well. I use coconut oil on my face to provide moisture. I mix it with other ingredients to form a mask. I also use coconut oil to shine shoes and furniture. You can also use coconut oil to wax floors. The formula of the BetterBody product allows you the ability to use it for all these purposes without the grainy consistency you find in the cheaper brands.

Yellow, contaminated coconut oil
When I first looked at this coconut oil, I knew something was wrong. Coconut oil is colorless at room temperature and should not have any curdled specks in it, which this jar did. After opening the jar, my suspicions were confirmed when a rancid, sour smell wafted into my nose. I am disappointed in my purchase and do not recommend buying this!

    Superior cocnut oil
    No smell or taste of coconut. Bake, cook, grease pans, used for frying. Very versatile. This product is superior to any other coconut oil on the market, in my opinion. BetterBody foods organic coconut oil hardens in cold temperature and melts to liquid form in the heat. Thank you walmart spark reviewer for allowing me to try this product. I highly recommend this coconut oil. I use it as a lotion for my skin, grease for my scalp. I use it to fry food, to bake and to cook everything else. Use it as a chapstick. Good stuff.

    I Love This Stuff
    I think I've tried this before. I loved it then and I love it now. I cook w/ this. My great niece makes hair and skin concoctions w/ it. I actually need two. One for the kitchen and one for the hall closet. Got chapped lips, a little dab will do ya. Got ashy elbows, knees or ankles. Grease them up w/ the coconut oil. Straight out of the jar is fine, but my niece likes to add essential oils to make it smell extra nice. This coconut oil is odorless and tasteless. That makes it great for cooking and for hair and skin products. Just be mindful that temperature changes make a difference. As you can see w/ from the pics if it's warmer, you'll have liquid and if it's colder, you'll have the lardy looking stuff. Don't worry, nothing is wrong w/ it. It just makes it easier to use for different applications. I absolutely love cooking w/ this coconut oil. It's great for sautes and for oven roasting veggies. I use it for muffins and cakes as well.

    Not just for cooking!
    I love this BetterBody Foods has made such a great organic coconut oil. I can bake, cook, and even fry with it (though that's super rare on my low carb diet). It comes in a large plastic tub, which is great because I use it for more than cooking. It does not have a coconut flavor or smell at all which is what I was worried about while I cooking with it. You can use coconut oil for hair, skincare, and makeup removal. It takes off my toughest eye makeup while softening my skin. It's great for massaging on dry skin or using as a regular lotion. I like using it as hot oil treatment for my hair and my daughter's long hair. It restores the shine and helps with tangles. I strongly recommend only adding it to the ends of your hair...it can be awfully hard to wash the oil out!

    Healthier option
    I feels good to know you have a healthier option than using vegetable oil but getting the same outcome. I seasoned my chicken as usual and poured only a little of coconut oil on my non stick skillet and placed my chicken in. I only put 2 pieces in to give it a try and it came out perfect. I was surprised it tasted the same. My coconut oil cake with a broken top but it still covers it. I didjt have to move it over to another container. That would've been a hassle.

    Frying with something new
    I used this to fry chicken and it came out ok. I was able to taste a little coconut taste and I think it dampened my seasoning some. I dont think it was all bad but I doubt that i will switch from regular oil to this for frying. Next time I will see how it sears.

    Organic, tasteless coconut oil
    I've used organic coconut oil for years, so when I received this product free in return for my honest review I didn't expect it to be anything different than the other brands I've used over the years. I use coconut oil as a low SPF sunscreen, in homemade deodorant, I cook with it, sometimes add it to coffee, give it to my dogs, and the list goes on and on. When it comes to cooking with it, I buy the expeller pressed which removes a lot of the coconut flavor. I'm not sure exactly what they mean by "naturally refined" with this product, but I don't detect any coconut flavor, and it's actually almost buttery in flavor/texture - a bit different than any other coconut oil I've ever used. It's really good! I do wish it didn't come in a plastic container, but every brand I've purchased in a glass container eventually seems to switch to plastic. I need to do a little research to figure out exactly how this oil is processed, but in all likelihood, I'll continue to buy this product once this container is empty. Good stuff!

    Love this Stuff!!!
    I have been using coconut oil for years now and I like this brand better than any I've tried in the past. I use it from head to toe as well as for oil pulling. It is not greasy but leaves the skin moisturized and feeling soft. I like that it does not have a taste so it is very tolerable when oil pulling and brushing my teeth. It also does not have a coconut smell; everything is neutral as stated on the jar. The jar is a generous size also.

    Great cooking oil
    I use coconut oil in place of the unhealthy liquid oils. It is odorless and tasteless. I have used this to fry fish, and potatoes. I have used it in baking also in place of any type of fat that the recipe calls for. The one thing that I have used this in is making soap. It has wonderful properties that creates a good bar soap. I would recommend this to anyone who frys, bakes or sautes foods.
