You'll call it your secret ingredient too!
This is my secret ingredient to make great soups, stews, rice, pasta, gravy, etc. It gives a depth of chicken flavor with just the right amount of seasonings to enhance any dish I make. One tsp in a cup of water does the trick. A little goes a long way.

2 months away from being outdated
the product they sent me was 2 months away from being outdated. it was dark yellow and old what's up with this. Walmart you provide the service to help people who are not able to get out and shop great! why send us almost outdated products that could make us sick I don't get this! a disappointed customer.

    Good for flavoring just about anything.
    This Chicken Base is GREAT!!! Good for flavoring just about anything. Been using it for over 20 year. Alway bought the larger jar but lately most stores only carry the smaller jar. Walmart by far has the best price. Most other stores $2 more for the same product.

    Great Flavor! A must have in the pantry!
    This is the best! It makes a great soup base but I also add it to the water when making rice and put a little in a chicken stir fry. It has a nice roasted chicken flavor and doesn't just add a salty taste like bouillon. The name says it all as it really is so much "Better Than Bouillon" and you won't be disappointed if you try it.

    as the Name Implies, it IS Better than Bouillon!
    The Name is what FIRST Caught my Attention! Since Regularly I Buy Chicken Thighs it SEEMD like a "Natural"! I was WRIGHT! "Better Than Bouillon" IS the Perfect Complement to the Air Fried Chicken Thighs! It takes LESS than a Teaspoon to add that Perfect Touch to this Extremely UN-Expensive Dinner!

    Great flavor but could be a better value
    The product is great and it deserves 5 stars. I love the flavor it added to my chicken and dumplings however, I don't believe it's a good value so I deducted a star. I used nearly half the jar to achieve the rich flavor I desired and with a price point over $3.00, I don't see myself purchasing this very often...maybe for use during holidays and special occasions. The giant bouillon cubes in the Mexican aisle work just as great (if not better) and are an amazing value. Once I finish my open jar, I'll return to my tried and true bouillon cubes. Overall, I do recommend that you give it a try.

    It really is a "Superior Touch Better Than Bouillon!!" It makes a superior flavor booster to plain water to make wonderful Chicken & Dumplings, Chicken Noodle Soup - and, any chicken recipe you choose. Helpful measurement directions. I love this product and keep it always available.

    Fantastic Flavor
    This is the real deal. There are a lot of stock and base flavorings to choose from, but I have not found any that can compare to this brand. Whether you are making a stir fry, soup or stew, or you simply want additional flavor in your gravy you will really enjoy the authentic roasted flavor of this product.
