Great Coffee Table
the table is a bit tall with bottom parts added. ( one could use carpet coasters instead ) I had it together within 7 hours, and took my time.

Very poor quality
I loved this as a place to store all our board games, and loved the coloring. However, putting it together took several hours. It seemed very sturdy when we were done and for the first month or so. It is not "real" wood, but that glued sawdust crap that we all know is not good quality as far as holding together if it needs to be moved. Within 6 months, just from moving it back and forth to vacuum it started coming apart at the seams. Within a year I had already wood-glued and clamped it at several different junction points. The screws holding g rhe sides of the lid came out and could not be put back because of the holes in the sawdust. Then I moved houses: even empty it came apart in 8 different places. Photo is recent. No usage except scooting to sweep around it. In the photos you can see where it has been glued multiple times, and the places where there are holes bored that, once a piece with a screw falls off, it cannot be put back. You can also see where it comes apart at the seams. The seam in picture 1 has been glued twice already. This table may look nice, but if you want something that lasts, or that CONTINUES to look nice, choose another.

    Happy with this Coffee Table
    The instructions for this were better than the TV stand. My husband put this together in about 1 hour. We love it. The inside is spacious for our blankets/extra storage. The top is a little off and crooked because the pieces aren't leveled and even. It's minor in the eye we see it. There were also a few scratches but other people may not notice so easy. I wish there were stickers to cover the screws that show on top. It's sturdy (my husband 5"11 -250) stood on the inside with ease. It looks good with our TV stand and when the book shelf is back in stock, we'll purchase that.

    Great piece and super functional! The assembly will take a solid hour if not more. Assembling square is key to the track function, make sure you make the necessary adjustments along the way. If assembled correctly, you will love it!

    This piece is beautiful, however.....
    I got this piece, the bookshelf and the entertainment stand last year in May of 2016. Well here it is only a year later and the trim on the top barrier part of the table had been peeling off like crazy. This is my only complaint, because I love the weathered look, I love the size and how heavy it is, it's very durable, and the storage inside is great for throw blankets and stuff. It's just wearing away real fast on that trim. And idk how to fix or stop it. Other than that, love this table.

    This is a beautiful and very functional coffee table. Putting it together was really not hard. Follow directions and have patience, you can have this in your livingroom within an hour, after it arrives in your home. The table is heavy, like expensive furniture and is very impressive. The weathered look is really pretty.

    Love this piece!
    We bought this to replace older, ottoman which had a covered "stuffed" top. I have to agree with other reviews that with the "skirting" pieces at the bottom made it too tall for a coffee table. We left that part great and it still looks great. They only drawback for us is that the top is not waterproof and I have a 6 year old. The kids like to set drinks, etc on it. I added a tray so they could put stuff like that on it. Would purchase this product again!

    Assembly Definitely Required
    I love this piece of furniture but the assembly was time consuming and labor intensive. While the instructions were very clear and concise the amount of assembly required is in my opinion excessive. It ended up taking the greater part of a day to complete it. Of specific note: 1. Assembling this by oneself is very difficult. If possible get help! 2. Assembly required excessive manual labor to tighten all the screws required. I actually ended up getting blisters on my hands. 3. The piece is very heavy, which is indicative of quality furniture, but moving it after assembly is difficult by oneself so plan for that and try to assemble in the location it will ultimately end up being in if possible.

    Beautiful BUT Abnormally Tall
    This is a beautiful piece of furniture and looks much nicer than it's $150 price tag... the only thing is that it is really tall, abnormally tall for a coffee table actually. I ended up leaving off the final trim piece on the bottom (the approximately 2.5" inch piece that elevates the base off the floor) because the table was too tall for our couch. It made it taller/higher than the seat cushions. Although I'm not a big fan of putting my feet on the coffee table my legs were at an uncomfortable angle when I tried to do so! Someone else mentioned that it looks like a trunk for the end of the bed, I could definitely see that, especially with the extra trim piece attached. I don't think it's necessary and doesn't add or detract from the item. Don't attach it and you won't miss it - see my photo. Otherwise I really LOVE this piece of furniture, it has an attractive brown-grey finish that compliments rustic, distressed or coastal decor.
