Nice little lamp for the price!!
I bought for the bedroom. Easy to put together. You do not need a three way bulb for it to work, just a regular bulb. Exactly what I needed for the bedroom, so I do not have to search for the on/off switch. Just touch the lamp to turn it on. Nice lamp for the money.

Pretty but undependable
This lamp is just right for your bedside table. I bought it so I could "touch" it for immediate light if needed. The only problem, it doesn't come on when you touch it like the picture shows. It sometimes doesn't matter how you touch it, it doesn't come on. Sometimes it comes on all by itself in the wee hours of the morning. And when you do finally get it to come on, it can go off all by itself. I've kept it because it looks good, and if I touch it all over, I can usually get it to come on. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

    easy access to light
    I have purchased 4 of these lamps over the past 8 years and they have all been excellent. I have arthritis and the touch feature makes access to light on a bed stand or bookcase very easy without having to deal with which side of the lamp the switch is on. After about 5 years, the touch module does burn out and the lamp is still viable with the addition of an in-cord switch for a few dollars. The only reason I did not give this lamp a 5 star rating is because the shade cannot be fixed securely like it was on previous years' models. It appears that the bolt is too long to screw all the way into the metal ball at the top of shade. There is just enough space to allow the shade to wobble which, it appears to me, to diminish the ability of the lamp to respond on the first touch. I kept the lamps because I like the style and the easy access to light, but I do hope that the manufacturer will remedy the problem with the fit of the lampshade.

    Great lamp, very helpful in the dark.
    This lamp is very helpful to me because I have arthritis in both hands and it is hard for me to turn a lamp on, but with this lamp I only have to touch it and it's on.

    Excellent Small Touch Sensitive Nightstand Lamp
    I purchased 2 of these lamps for my wife & me. We have owned them for a couple of weeks and they work perfectly. The setup was easy and they work exactly as we expected...a light touch to anywhere on the base turns the lamp on to a low light setting. Subsequent light touches to the base increases the lumens giving more light. 3 levels of lighting. We like these lights because they eliminate fumbling in the dark for a switch. Note: these lamps are smaller than most nightstand lights.

    The lamp looks cheap. I has great expectations for the lamp but except for the fact that is convenient to turn on and off I think that the lamp is no good value for the money. I will not buy again.

    It could not possible be made any cheaper nor appear any cheaper. The only serviceable use would be for a little Girl's Doll House.

    Defective.
    Both lamps are defective. Called company and now have to wait for new parts, which I have to install!! Would not recommend this product to anyone. Just real sorry I bought them in first place.

    Very nice lamp and much needed for my elderly Mother. Tried to put together but could not push the connecting electric wire up inside lamp as directed. Emailed the company and they never responded to me. In the end I took it back to Walmart for a refund, lost my shipping, and do not have the touch lamp I so sorely needed.

    Love the "touch to turn on/off" feature!
    This is my first "touch" lamp and it makes me to get another one! I have had the lamp for a few weeks now, and am really enjoying its features-3 way lamp,touch on/off,and attractive appearance in my master bedroom. It's a little smaller than I expected, but it still works well for me as a bedside lamp.
