Took forever to get here, however once it did I was able to put it together myself in about thirty minutes (without a second person). It holds all of my books and more. It looks and feels so great as an added home office addition in my apartment, that I may add another.

How come nobody said that the backside is just a piece of cardboard?!... Yes, just unfinished cardboard! Now I understand why there are not pictures of the back side. I can't believe it.

    Great bookshelf for the price
    This item was perfect for my purposes. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. Some reviews complained that it was difficult to assemble or that pieces didn't fit. I had no issues with that. Yes the material for the back is flimsy, but no one is going to see it when the shelves are filled with books. As long as you don't jam books all the way to the back there should be no problem.

    Amazing piece!
    Love the color! Easy assembly! It's a really great size piece, picture made it seem smaller. It's nice and sturdy, seems like it'll last a while. It's literally the “look for less”, you can't beat the price. Would definitely recommend!

    Great little bookcases for closet storage.
    I bought 2 to use in my closet for handbag storage. The pickled gray color was very nice. They were delivered in very secure boxes and wrap and were very easy to put together. I did I it myself . The most difficult part was getting them out of the delivery boxes . Yes the back is cardboard but they look and function very nicely(especially in a closet) for $90 each. I am pleased with my purchase.

    Love it! It looks pretty in my home. Was relatively easy to put together. Would be nice if the directions showed a difference between the finished and unfinished side.

    This is a Sauder product and anyone that has bought Sauder before knows they are well designed, precisely measured and easy to assemble. Their products have the appearance of well built furniture. This bookcase is no exception; it is sturdy and able to hold full shelves of books with no sag.

    Happy with it
    The color of the wood is very aesthetically pleasing and this is overall a very attractive bookshelf. You get what you pay for in terms of quality- the wood material is cheaper (but at $89???? This is a steal!). I'm happy with it but docked a star because it didn't come with instructions which made assembly more difficult for us.

    It works wonders!
    I bought this three months ago and it has done a wonderful job of storing all of my things. It is sturdy and well built. At first, when I finished putting together, it seemed a little wobbly. But then I put weight into it and has done wonders!
