This is GREAT!
This is amazing! I see no valid reasoning for any negative reviews. I am honestly usually a picky person and harsh judge. But this bench is great. I purchased this for a window seat for my dogs. As well as storage for their toys and blankets underneath. They constantly wanna sit by the window and watch cars/people go by, so this was great. They love it! And the 300 lb weight capacity allows me to sit on it as well with them. The price seemed high at first, but now that I have received it and used it, the price is worth it to me. You would pay much more anywhere else for a less quality product. Highly recommend!

    Decent piece, easy assembly but is not the best quality. What I expected at this price point Looks nice and is sturdy. Multiple parts arrived damage, did not affect assembly but still a bummer.

    I ordered this bench for a duo purpose. To have additional space to place my holiday decorations, as well as, add extra seating in our living room. I also wanted to provide some filler space for the wall under our mirror. This adorable bench did just the trick! :) It matches our mirror perfectly. And it's made very well. Very solid. The cushion is not flimsy either. It's nice and firm, which means that it will probably last for a long time. No cheap fabric used either. My husband put it together for me in less than an hour w/o any issues whatsoever. I'm so very pleased with this purchase! You can't beat the price for what you get!

    Solid, sturdy: Just As Advertised
    This bench is exactly as advertised. It's strong enough to sit on (rated for 300 lbs) and has handy cubicles for storage. It's perfect in our remodeled bathroom to hold towels at the ready. It took about an hour to assemble (I was sore and slow that day.) Others have reported the item arriving damaged; mine was fine. There are two minor glitches: the cushion had long snagged thread on it. I just flipped the cushion over and will use the other side. Also they provide little white caps to cover the holes holding the cam locks. Two of the caps simply fell out, they were two small (or the holes were too big) by a mere millimeter. I used rubber cement to hold them in place; that worked. This same Better Homes and Gardens cubicle bench is sold by many websites. Most charge more and they all have lousy return policies. I got this from Walmart becuase I could return it to a store if I hit a problem.

    Awful product. Complete trash
    Awful product. Broke while building to a unfixable degree. I understand why it was on sale now cause it was so bad. Please don't waste your time and money. Not even worth sending back and wasting more of my time.

    Absolutely more gorgeous in person!!! The color is beautiful. Easy to assemble if done properly. Took about 30 minutes at most by myself!. Will be ordering another one to make a L shape in the entrance area for my kids school and hook area!!.

    Trust me...easy to assemble...
    Yes, like others have said, there was some MINOR damage upon unpacking, but it was all invisible once the bench was assembled. I purchased this bench for the end of my bed. While it provides additional storage, the main reason for the purchase was to help my tiny dog get up on the bed once I upgraded to a much taller mattress. I'd tried dog stairs without success; they terrified her. She took to the bench immediately and gleefully practiced ZOOMING on and off the bed. I always like to see reviews highlighting the pros and cons, so I've listed mine below: PROS: Easy to assemble. I'm a 61-year-old woman who is not remotely handy and I assembled in just over an hour. The connector pieces (screws, nails, cam-locks) are individually packaged, which eliminates all confusion. All the holes lined up accurately. The bench feels sturdy once assembled. The cushion is a nice neutral color and the cover zips off for easy cleaning. CONS: I purchased the "Mahogany" color. Worked great for me because I was looking for a red cherry, which is what the color actually mimics. I believe Mahogany is actually much darker, so be aware. This is just pressed particle board with a wood-look laminate. On the plus side, more substantial wood would have made this piece WAY too heavy for me to handle. MISC: I read mixed reviews of the "feet." I left them off. You will need standard tools - a hammer, flat head and Philip's head screw-driver. I purchased a set of four inexpensive 13" x 13" fabric bins which match really well - and I have one left over! I also purchased Velcro strips to keep the cushion very stationary, knowing my dog would be leaping onto it. This was PERFECT for my needs. I could not be happier with this purchase. I hope it lasts a long time. I would definitely purchase again and I highly recommend.

    Not what I expected
    I dislike this item because its not sturdy. Its really shakey. There is damage to the wood. The instructions were self explanatory and very easy. It came out great but you cant sit on it especially if your over maybe 180lbs. Im highly upset this is the first item I purchased from Better Homes that has been a failure. I will not purchase again.
