Disappointed
I ordered 10 balls of the white yarn for a blanket that was to be a gift. Half of the yarn was one consistency and the other half was different(one was softer and fuzzier). At least 4 of the balls had black discoloration in various areas of the ball of yarn. All of the balls had tiny knots throughout, where the ends had been tied together. This makes for a very messy and inconsistent looking finished product. I have been using Bernat yarns for many years and the blanket yarns over the last several years. I have noticed a distinct decline in the quality of the blanket yarns. It is quite disappointing.

    Such a soft warm yarn!
    I bought this to finish up and make a border for an afghan I had completed, but wasn't big enough. The quilt was made with bernat home yarn with many different textures, one of the textures was a chenille like this one, so it blended in perfectly!! the size and texture was perfect and consistent. This yarn works up so quick, and it is thick and warm, but yet soft and pleasing to the skin. I can't believe in all my years of crocheting I am just learning what a wonderful product this yarn is. I would definitely recommend using a metal hook, not plastic, the plastic seems to grip the fibers more where the metal glides against the microfiber texture. I will be using more of this yarn in my future!!

    Bernat Blanket 6 Super Bulky Yarn
    Love this yarn. Easy to work with and so soft! Only gave 3 stars because a few areas had knots and were thin. Also was annoyed that I couldn't find the inside end of the yarn from center. Lack of Quality control seems to be more and more prevalent these days in more than one manufacturer. Delivery was quick. I would purchase again although with some hesitation.

    My preferred brand of Yarn!
    The yarn is a perfect thickness for making blankets, throws etc, and extremely easy to use. I started using this brand a few years back and the results are beautiful. The thickness allows for a comfy warmth that in cold weather, keeps you cozy while snuggling under it. Whether using it to cuddle on the sofa or, to add as a bed covering over a comforter, the extra weight and warmth adds an element of joy as you drift off to sleep. The vast variety of color options allow for an abundance of pairing to create unique finished pieces. I've made many a throw & blanket for my family, as well as scarves and hats for winter! I simply love Bernat Blanket yarn!

    Soft yarn for kid projects
    Very soft. As thick yarn it is a little hard on the hands to work with, but it's the same with all chunky yarns The photo is a different color, but the same yarn. I've just started making a blue one. It's not finished.

    Bernat is my favourite yarn for blankets. This chunky yarn works up quickly and beautifully. Washes up nicely as well. Blankets don't lose their shape. Highly recommend this yarn

    I ordered 6 balls of Bernat blanket yarn on-line as I didn't want to travel store to store. It arrived within 10 days and it was from the same dye lot. This was so easy that I may never go into a craft store again if it is available to order on-line. I am now happily knitting my blanket.
