great experience!
so easy to find the yarn I was unsuccessfully hunting for in LA area Walmart stores! Even tried Michael's and Joann's. wish I'd done this from the get go as it was easy to order AND free shopping to my local fed ex office! did I mention the product was available about a week early?! YUP! Great experience!

cannot find beginning thread
On Bernat yarns, you can call me stupid I guess becuz I can NEVER find the thread that comes from within to begin my projects. Why is that a problem? Easy. I am continually trying to unwind the roll in an unnatural manner. I do not like it. I have bought Bernat enough times now to be confirmed. No more. Nada. Yes. Unlike all my other yarn brands, this is the one downside that seems to be unique only to my Bernat purchases. Probably only me.

Perfect for a very nice sweater!
The yarn is very nice to work with, great color (I've got light gray), very good length, I only needed a bit more than one ball. I really like it.

    Great...Except for the White
This yarn is a good value. I bought blue, pink, yellow, peach, lilac and white. All the colors I bought are soft and the strand stays together well making it easier to crochet. I would give the colored yarn 5-stars. The white, however, is coarse and not soft at all. It almost seems like it is thicker too. I was planning to make baby items mostly white with colored accents. The white yarn is way too stiff for a baby's skin though. Kind of messed up my whole plan.

Made up a perfect baby afghan
I used this Ombres along with a solid soft peach and size 15 needles. This yarn was baby soft, and the pattern I used worked up very quickly. It was a bit of a challenge to work with two jumbo balls, but it was worth it. A young mother who saw the afghan asked that I knit one for her as well. I have a minor eczema problems that are sometimes made worse by some yarn. I had no trouble with this yarn, and when I find a brand that works for me, I'm very happy.

I hate to recommend tis as I really like to use it
I have used this yarn a lot. I make over 350 babyu hats a year for the local hospital new borns .. Ths yarn knits well has a soft hand and looks terrific. I combine the solids with the ombres and also love the rest of the Bernat yarns. Good quality at a good price.

nice and soft, thinner than other baby sport yarn
I found this yarn thinner than other baby sport yarns I have used, it is more like a #2 baby yarn than a #3 (baby) sport weight. It makes nice soft lightweight baby sweaters for maybe late spring wear but be careful to watch the gauge as it may not be suitable for a pattern that needs a sport weight. If you want a heavier winter baby sweater or blanket this might not be heavy enough. I can't say it is "bad" yarn, just much thinner than I expected and I could not use it for the pattern I had in mind. The skein is big enough that I made a different baby sweater, bonnet and booties from one skein, 6 month size, so it is a good value.

    Great for baby afghans
I crochet a lot of baby afghans and sweaters. I find this yarn the most economical & comfortable to work with. Unfortunately I frequently can't find the colors I like--baby green and blossom--in the stores, but I can order them from Walmart at very little additional cost.
