i never received the beans and rice that was substituted as i sent it back as i picked up my groceries. i never wanted any substitution and did not ask for it. The young lady told me my bill would be adjusted from this charge. it never was.

    This product sucks
    This product really sucks Vigo red beans and rice are wayyyyyy,better then this.It doesn't even taste like red beans and rice.Uncle Ben's needs to redo recipe and add some flavor.

    Well, I hate to side with those who left 1 star because of it being bland... butttt! The thing is it's not CoMPleTeLy flavorless, but compared to this brand's other flavors, it tastes like nothing is really there. And DEFINITELY compared to actual Red Beans %26 Rice! HAHAHA Are you kidding me? Even if it tasted different than red beans %26 rice but still brought some FLaVoR I would be happy to accept it. But to make us even think of red beans %26 rice and then make us taste THiS, when it's almost not even a step up from plain ol' regular rice... it's almost criminal! LOL Why did you guys even make the flavor if you weren't going to deliver? I only gave it 2 stars because it was at least easy to heat %26 eat. But that's about it.

    Poor product
    This is a great brand name but this product is a poor excuse for red beans and rice. The beans were segments of beans and hardly any at all. I didn't finish eating these.
