Good quality headboard
Shipped quickly and in good condition. Was easy to assemble, the parts fit well. It is nice looking and good quality. Also felt it was reasonably priced.

    The first one I received was cracked, but not an issue with shipping, nor Hayneedle. I could tell it was damaged and then a finish applied. So, shame on the manufacturer for poor quality control. I repurchased this one and my 9 year old son and I put it together in 20 minutes. It has all the necessary screws and bolts to attach to a metal frame. Our particular frame allowed for two screws/bolts to be used on each post, for a total of four holding the frame and headboard together. I have included a picture of one of the posts/legs attached with the two screws and bolts to our frame. I find it odd that the screw is very long, protrudes into the frame, and pokes into the box spring. Screwing it towards the wall would cause it to damage the drywall. The other photo is of my son's bed with a 7" box spring and the Signature Sleep Memoir 12" Mattress, also purchased from Hayneedle. Two great purchases at reasonable prices. Thank you Hayneedle.

    Merlot Belmont Headboard with 12" Signature Memoir Mattress
    First one arrived cracked, then it was out of stock, ordered the Atlantic Furniture Mission Headboard which also arrived cracked in three places, so I reordered this one again in Merlot. The third time was a charm. My 9 year old son and I put it together in 20 minutes and it came with the necessary screws and bolts to attach to the headboard. I included a pic of the two bolts on one side of the headboard. Oddly the screws are longer than necessary and when the box spring is pushed back, they dig in. The second pic is of the headboard with the 12" Signature Sleep Memoir Mattress purchased on Hayneedle too.

    Very nice, great quality, priced well.
    I would recommend this item to anyone. Looks more expensive than it is, very easy to assemble, would work in any bedroom: adult, guest, young person. I paired it with a Siam canopy, and it's beautiful. Great quality

    Much more than expected
    I really didn't expect such good quality for the price. Boy was I surprised. The headboard is really pretty and was super easy to assemble (very little assembly required) and attach to the bed. I was so surprised and incredibly happy with this headboard. It's look like a really expensive headboard.
