Maybe I just received a bad one
I recieved my package in a vacuum sealed bag with it being inside another bag. I took it out and immediately noticed loose threads falling off as well as coming from the seams. A little skeptical, but hopeful, I took the comforter and pillow shams out to see how they would look on my bed. The oversized queen is a WONDERFUL size and felt decently soft. Not as fluffy as the picture made it seem not a deal breaker.
I then proceeded to wash it (same day) on a "easy care - soft fabric" setting in cold water with no detergent added hoping that it would shake off the loose threads. As soon as I opened up the washer, I IMMEDIATELY noticed the filling coming out. I'm so disappointed by this mainly because I had purchased 2 sets relying on all of the good reviews. I haven't even bothered opening the 2nd one yet. Either way, they will both be going back.

The blanket is not thick or fluffy but it is weighty and strong quality. The color is nice, seems to have little bit of cotton snag and pull out a couple months into using it even if used gently.Victoria

He did not like the red. To me it was the perfect boys red. Not a bright red but not burgundy either. Its hard to find a pretty red. I searched high and low for this one and was still skeptical until I received it. I was so excited to decorate his room. Needless to say, I had to send it back regretfully. I would totally recommend it to others who like red.bountyhunter1

After reading the positive reviews I decided to buy it and I am glad I did. It was packaged tightly compressed upon receipt but upon opening it, it quickly fluffed up. It is a lighter weight comforter but I think will be warm or cool enough as required. I am very happy with my purchase. It exceeded my expectations.Kathy

However for me, it was entirely too bulky even for a comforter. This surprised me being I've never encountered this issue. Also it doesn't wash well and I like to clean my bedding weekly. If you have a really large washer And don't like to wrap up in your blanket then you'll enjoy this item. Just not for me.Cheyenne

I use to use two layers of the thin covers because my comfort I use was to hot. This one change my nights of sleep. And for the price you cant go wrong.fredy

It also became a bit bunched during the laundering process. I still like the comforter (it’s soft and warm and does it’s job) but it’s not attractive to look at anymore after the first wash.kc9981

It's super comfy and soft, I could use this is a standalone blanket it's so comfortable. I love just laying on it on the bed to read a book too. If it comes in other colors will look into maybe buying a different color for variety.Amanda
