Cool Barbie, Fun Reveal.
The color reveal Barbie is very cool. I haven't seen anything like it. It was fun for me to assist my five year old daughter. She really loves her doll she keeps asking me for another one. The doll reveals in cold tap water within seconds. Ours have on a yellow bodysuit with palm trees.  We used ice water to change the doll makeup and reveal the orange hair highlights using the sponge. Warm water changes the orange highlights back to blonde and lightens the makeup back quicker than just letting the doll air dry. Then she put on the doll's pink shoes and matching palm tree design skirt. The hair is cute like a blonde wig for the doll, without the wig is a cute platinum haircut. My daughter preference is to take the wig, shoes and skirt off. She's like a beach doll suitable for tub and pool water playtime. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Metallic paint stained doll. Blue staining all over doll that won't come off. Wig cap was also a let down. Solid blonde (not as featured) and didn't fit.

    does not work, really dissapointing
    I bought this for as a gift for my little girl as she looooooves Barbie. I would say about 10% of the paint does not come off, tried everything it will just not work. Specially at the joints and crevices. The metallic paint won't come off easily, I used and hot water, to no avail. I used the cloth, which I understand is to simplify the process for the little girls. I was afraid to use a more "strong" process like the green 3M pan sponge b/c the plastic would scratch. My little girl won't use it since it looks dirty.

    Poor quality
    My daughter was super excited about the colour reveal doll. However the hair piece doesn't fit nicely at all, you can't even bend her legs so that she can sit. The head also doesn't look very good like barbie normally does. Absolutely dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

    Worst thing I have ever bought. The concept of it was cool, my daughter was excited to get it. But all the blue metallic did not come off, she still has some around the top of her legs, she leaked blue water for 2 days after putting her in the tube, and her hair piece will not stay on. I should've returned it, but we turned her into a bathtub only toy, but would not recommend or purchase again.

    Purchased today and the metallic paint has stained the Barbie all over her body. Just makes it look dirty. Very disappointing that the paint won't fully come off.

    Surprise Barbie!
    This was a ton of fun for my daughter just opening. Huge anticipation! She really enjoyed swishing the barbie to find out which one she has. Several girls older girls (8-10yrs old) came over for the reveal and all loved it! Barbie comes in a swimsuit which she took right into bathtub. She had fun switching her hair color and adding stars on her face using cold water. The wig and accessories were super fun! This was a huge hit. Great set for the price!     Lots of little surprises.
    The Barbie looks freaky coated in special dissolving paint. However, my daughter enjoyed watching the shimmer water appear and pulling out the surprise doll. ALL of the accessories were individually wrapped. My daughter may have liked it more if she could open the packages herself but they were difficult to open and detracted From the “multiple present” feel. Barbie was alright after seeing her.     The Barbie Color Reveal Doll was a total blast for both my daughter and myself. It was absolutely magical revealing the doll in the warm water. The blue metallic coating came right off of the doll in warm water with no effort. It was amazing. The accessories are adorable and just as high quality as ever. We used the sponge the doll came with and after dipping it into ice cold water, we gently wiped Barbie's face to reveal colorful lips and stars beneath her eye!
