Great Value
Took a little over 9 hours to assemble by myself. The 1st hour and a half was spent sorting and inventoring parts. The boxes were in bad shape, but somehow all the pieces were still there. The instructions are all picture diagrams, very few words. Pay close attention to orientation of pilot holes for future steps while assemling. Very sturdy once constucted. Held all 270 lbs of me without creaking. It is just under 19 feet end to end so measure your potential location before ordering. My 4yo and 1 1/2yo are loving every minute of playing on it.

Nice set but quite a few broken pieces.
We bought this set for our three daughters, ages 10,8, and 4. Several pieces of wood came broke or split. Called to reorder damaged pieces and was told they would send out the pieces within a week, still have yet to receive replacement parts and had to make the best of what we had. Our girls enjoy the set now that it is assembled. But with all the issues we had i am not sure we would repurchase.

    Only Day 1...
It's only day one, took us less than 9 hours to put it together and it is very sturdy so far. We shall see what happens after a while but so far, so good. So a few things to note. 1) If you're not getting this shipped then you need a few people and a pick-up truck to bring both boxes home. They are heavy boxes-this is common sense. 2) Lay out all the pieces and screws first before you proceed. I promise you it's worth taking the time out to do that. 3) Yes, there are parts of the directions that DO NOT tell you what tool you need so be prepared to go out to buy tools if you're not the handy-type. 4) Watch the placing of the pre-drilled holes, this is very important not to mess up. We did it twice but quickly noticed our errors and flipped the pieces around. 5) Treat the wood once you're done. It's worth putting a sealant on it.

    perfect
I love this! We purchased it for our 2 year olds, wanting them to be able to grow up playing on it. It arrived within the week and exactly on time. The directions were all pictures, and it was easy to put together. It took 3 people about 4-5 hours. It is very sturdy and the kids love it. All the pieces were there, even extra hardware. The wood stain rubs off a little in the beginning, but after a few rains I haven't seen any more. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a swing set that you want to keep around!

A good choice but with caveats
Overall, I am pleased with this swingset. It came in two boxes, which were shipped a week apart (thanks, Walmart!) so there was a bit of a delay putting it together. Once together it's quite nice and my kids do enjoy. However, there are some issues with the overall product. #1- The directions were placed in the box without a bag over them. Since it took the boxes almost 2 weeks to arrive, rain drenched the boxes and directions. The manufacturer should really consider putting the manual in a bag for incidences like this. #2- The directions themselves were botched considerably. Many steps did not provide the proper information. For example, at least 5 different times, the proper hardware was not listed and we had to "figure out" what was missing, such as the wood grabbing nuts that hold the swing side and monkey bars to the housing unit. The directions only listed the bolts, not the nut needed. #3- There was an excess in bolts and we were short a certain sized screw. Not the end of the world, we improvised, but it was a pain. #4- The playhouse door was botched. The hole for the handle was drilled in the wrong spot, and you can't imagine the frustration in trying to figure out what we were doing wrong. Turns out, it wasn't us. It was the manufacturer. Now that it's up, I'm happy with it. It took about 7 hours between my husband and I. We still haven't done the slide because, well, the directions aren't clear on how to put it together and anchor it to the playhouse. I would say that it's a good deal for those who have experience with putting things together, troubleshooting, and improvising. If you don't have these skills, then I wouldn't consider a swingset like this.

    Great Swingset
Both boxes arrived on same day right on time. Advice for those putting this or any other similar type set together, take the time to organize all the pieces and lay out the bags of hardware prior to beginning, it is the most helpful step in the process. It was also VERY helpful to have one person gathering the pieces for the next step while another one (or two) assembled. For a seasoned diy'er it took about 11 1/2 hours to complete assembly. Check which way predrilled holes should face during each step, we ran into some of ours on the clubhouse posts were facing the wrong way, we went with just predrilling new holes instead of disassembling. Kids all absolutely love it!! Highly recommend this set!

    Overall a Great Set
We bought this a year ago and it has held up well. Very sturdy. I have a 140lb 11 year old and a 45lb 5 year old, they both play on it with no issues. The only issues we had were - 1 missing bolt, 1 split piece of wood and 1 broken piece of wood. We were able to repair or replace those easily. We got the majority of it up in one day (about 12 hours) but due to the missing pieces we had to go to the hardware store store, so it was not fully assembled in one day for us. The only thing I do not really like is the slide, I thought it would be 1 solid piece but it comes in three pieces- the sides are solid and molded and then you get a roll of flat plastic for the bottom, that you screw into the sides. I can't help but think that the screws will come loose over time or poke out and scrape a little bum, so I will be replacing the slide with a solid one piece this year. ALSO the chains on the swing are coated in plastic but they still get crazy hot, so I cut up a skinny dollar store pool noodle and slid about 8" worth of the pool noodle over each chain, this way the kids have something to grab that never gets hot!

4 and 6 year old approved!
love this wooden swing set! it took my husband and his friend 2 days to put together. alot of small peices that took the longest. wish it came with 1 more bar step for the monkey bars but my 4 year old and almost 6 year old love this set! It will take a while before they master the monkey bars though. we ordered add ons like the play wheel and telescope and a disc swing we hung from the monkey bar beam. the bottom area didnt get any use at first so we added a play kitchen and use the window as a drive thru its very fun. came with tons of screws and bolts we had alot left over. for the price its realy a great deal!

    Great item for the price!
My order came on time, with all of the pieces (in fact with a bunch of extra hardware just in case), none of which were broken. The instructions were clear and helpful. This is obviously not some $1000+ playset, but for the price it's great. Took me (a novice) about 10 hours to put together by myself.
