Looks great when put together. You need two people to put together. Instructions are very detailed. We will see how it holds up over time. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. My daughter loves it!

Great Up To 8 years old.
Overall I think this is a very nice place set for younger kids up to about maybe really 7 or 8 years old. The wood is a lot thinner than I would have liked, but again, for that age group it's going to work just great. I stained everything right before I assembled it and it looks beautiful. I hope it lasts!

    We assembled the playset ourselves. It went together in about the 10 hours that was estimated. Once all parts were attached and leveled the playset turned out to be stable and attractive.

    Love it!
    Ordered the Monticello swing set for my children (4 and 7). It was installed yesterday and they've played on it for hours since. It's sturdy, well-made, and very nice looking. The installation was quick and the installer made the area I wanted it work! Overall, excellent experience thus far.

    Fun to be had, for sure!
    We've had our play set up for 2 weeks and my 4 year old LOVES it. He wants to go outside the moment he wakes and is outside playing most of the day. I love the design, but the wood isn't as strong as I expected. Our 8 year old neighbor (normal size kid - not big for her age) was swinging and we heard the top beam crack... so I do need to take this up with the company.

    Received the play set in about one week. All parts were present and undamaged. The instructions are easy to follow. I would recommend using a battery powered 3/8 impact instead of the supplied torx wrenches to speed up the process and save your sanity. Overall very satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

    Kids love it!
    We bought this as a Christmas present for our children. My husband and I put it together in about 12 hours. Our children have played on it everyday since and they stay out there for hours - they love it!! Its very sturdy, the directions are not hard to follow and setting it up isn't hard if you read the instructions properly. Nothing was missing and we had fun working on this project together. In the beginning of the instructions it advises you to lay out all the pieces and sort them by section - that really helped tons and I highly recommend doing that. All said and done, I would purchase this again. To add: My kids say it was the BEST Christmas gift ever!

    A little cramped
    We bought this for my daughter's 6th birthday. I did a ton of research and read thousands of reviews before I decided on this one. It seemed to have the most activities and biggest bang for our buck. It took my husband and brother in law about 10 hours to put together. I was very worried in reading the reviews and some people saying it took them about four days since we only had one day to out it up. If you have any type of construction or home improvement experience, which my husband does, it should be a breeze for you. The swing set looks very nice and well built. We followed the recommended dimensions for the play area and filled it with mulch. We thought the dimensions were overexaggerated before we got the set in there, but they are right on. It gave us the perfect amount of room around it. In doing all my research, one thing I never read, or I guess realized, was how close everything was to each other. The swings are only about four inches apart and often results in little elbows knocking together. Also, there's only three monkey bars. I found that a little ridiculous. We purchased a wheel for the fort today because my daughter likes to play captain of the ship. I also thought that when they said it had a toy box, that there would be some way to close it up. There's not. It's just open space under the bench. All in all, it looks nice and my daughter was very happy with her present. I'm however, still wishing I had done more research.

    Not too shabby
    Listen to everybody and sort everything out first! Makes it much easier when fetching the pieces. Have a buddy devoted to spending the day helping you and make sure and have ATLEAST 2 fully charged drills. We used 3 batteries the first day! Follow the directions and you should have no problems cause I'm not the most "handy man" and I was able to knock it out. Overall I give the set a B+ to A-.........

    BEST SWING FOR IT'S PRICE
    I purchased this swing set as a Xmas gift for my daughters. The site to store took a week and was received before XMAS. Purchased it when it was on sale for 499.00. Great swing for it's price especially that I got it for 200 less. The assembly time took about 2 days. It's best to organize the woods first alphabetically. There are a lot of screws and bolts included. - Don't rip the "name" of the bolts, just tear the corner - We stripped a couple of the phillips head large screws. The key is to use drill a hole and drill the screw it in fast and not slow. - Put the roof on the A frames before securing to the top of the "clubhouse" will be much easier. - Set the drill to stop at 14 or similar setting otherwise the screws will go through the wood. - May want to get a piece of wood for the seat under the pagula. There isn't a support so dips a little. - Get a pack of phillips bits and replace often to prevent stripping of the bolts. - DEFINITELY have 2 people doing this job, will make a big difference. - Was shipped in 2 heavy boxes, fit in the back of my Ford Sportrac, which has a smaller bed.
