My son has been playing with trains since I can remember!!!!....started with Thomas trains...he's 11 now....now he has his first electric train!!!!...he loves,loves,loves!!!!....he want more of this brand!!!!!....saw the same train on Amazon.....Walmart has a better deal!!!!

I got this for an xmas present for my kids. its pretty nice. some of the track doesnt fit smoothly together and the train gets hung up on them. . just make sure u put it together carefully and gently. some of the pieces are solid one color makig it not so fun. like the little people are solid beige color instead of having colored hair, clothes , etc...the price should be lower. consider the other sets first, like a nicer engine instead of the freight engine if its for a gift. this would make a better add-on set than a main set.

    Good Train Set for the price paid
    The train set was a big hit with my grandson (and my cat too). Very easy to set up and it ran perfectly. The tracks are easy to assemble and will work on a low pile carpet. This was bought to replace a 20 year old Bachmann set that was damaged by water and 20 years later the quality is almost the same. I would recommend adding the 4 piece straight track set if you plan on using around a Christmas tree.

    Great starter train
    My 8yr old loves this set! The tracks were easy to set up and the train cars connected easily. We were also impressed with all of the scenery pieces it came with. I think this is a great starter set for kids and adults!
