Just like I wanted
It was just as described and it looks even better in person. The adjusting is extremely easy it's a twist bar to raise it up which I didn't expect but that makes my life so much easier. It came with the foot cover already attached. Everything was wrapped up nicely and in good condition. The color is such a beautiful red, I love it! I love the handle how it's a triangle so I can grab it any which way and it's comfortable. It's super lightweight which surprised me cuz based on the reviews people were saying it was heavy but it feels light to me. It even came with a harness tool so you can easily thread the straps in which is another perk. It latches onto the base easy

Waste of money
Horrible car seat. Hard to adjust straps. Not very safe and your baby's head has no place to rest, If they are only a few months old. Not very comfortable for baby.

    We bought a new car seat as we needed a new one but we wanted one that could work with our baby trend stroller too. We contacted with baby trend through emails an they responded the next day an told us the model we could use with our stroller an then showed us the base we could buy to use with the new car seat. We really like baby trend products!

    Just okay
    I bought this because my last one didn't have a decent canopy, I lost it's base, and it was getting too old. This one looks nice, but as other reviews have mentioned it is a pain to unlock from it's base. I use the seat belt instead since that makes the base useless at least until my baby is older and easier to just take in and out from the car. I have used another car seat from babytrend (which came with the travel system) and it was much better quality.

    Check manufacture date! Car seat over a year old.
    I like the car seat well enough, but the one I ordered here was well over a year old when I got it. It was still new in the box, but the manufacture date was Nov. 2019 and I got it March 2021. This is a big deal if you plan to have more than one kid because the car seat expires based on the manufacture date (6 years, in case of these infant car seats). You're not supposed to use it after it expires because the plastics breakdown and may no longer be safe in a crash. We are replacing our infant car seat because the old one expired. But when you buy a brand new car seat and it's already missing over a year of its lifespan, that's a big deal. Instead of having 6 years to use it, I have less than 5 years. In our case, this is probably our last kid, so it's not as big of a deal to us. But if you were hoping to use the car seat for more than a few years, check the manufacture date when you get it so you can return it if it's old.

    Wonderful car seat!
    With my other kids I only bought Graco seat but I saw the style of this car seat and it had great reviews so I bought it. It's a wonderful seat! It's light and easy to carry. The only complaint j have is that the carrying handle can be hard to move.
