They don't rust.
If you've ever had to do the yearly chore of taking a protective clear cover off of your license plate so you can put your registration renewal sticker on there, then you know that those little metal screws can get rusty. Every year I've had to bust out the WD40 to get those screws off. Well, no more. These nylon screws do not rust! They are going to make my annual chore much easier from here on out.

I have to report that out of the 3 vehicles in my driveway these did not work. I have no problem with the quality of the screws its just that they were too narrow to seat in any of the frames I have. Did not work on a ford, a Hyundai, or a dodge. I would suggest taking a current screw with you when you shop for small parts like this. It's almost impossible to get it right by assumption only! They are a plastic screw but seem like they would hold up just fine, no complaints other than fit didnt work out. I like that they were black as well, as so are the other screws I was trying to match. I guess I will have to try again though as I still have one particular plate that is driving around with one screw. Would think it would be universal... but it is not.

    I bought 2 packs of these and replaced the old ones on front and back of my car, they hold great and looks uniform now and neat..

    Works great on my car
    The screws were easy to put the license plate on. The old ones however were a pain to get off. They hold my plate securely. I am no longer worried about missing a bolt to hold it on. The fact that they are plastic is also a plus, no worries about rust.

    Good quality plastic plate fasteners
    The plastic plate fasteners in black color came in perfectly. They are super easy to install. I waited to write this review until they were proven in the highway. They are very sturdy, on a basis of 60-70 mpAt basic speed of 60-70 mph, they really do great and will never damage your plate because of the plastic material. For privacy of my plates I only took photos of the fasteners.

    Will not work on every vehicle
    I tried these fasteners on the license plates two different vehicles.I first tried them on a 2013 Chevy Camaro . I then tried them on a 1999 Honda prelude. Both had frames on their license plates. The fasteners did not work with either one of the cars. These fasteners have fine machined threads and both vehicles I tried them on needed fasteners with corse threads. I know these fasteners would work just fine on license plates that had a thin frame that you could reach the back of. These fasteners would work just fine on a motorcycle or trailer with a thin frame for mounting. The fastener could then use the nut that was provided in the package.The nut and fastener are both made from plastic which would be helpful if the vehicle was stored where it would receive inclement weather. Because you get 4 fasteners in the package you could use all 4 on one vehicle or spred them out between 2 vehicles .The fasteners and nuts are black in color and will blend in with a dark license plate or frame or stand out and show off a lighter color frame or license plate. I would have liked to have kept them on my cars if they would have worked out.

    Philip's head nut and bolt
    This license plate fastener is a philip's head nut and bolt made of nylon. The license plate fasteners that came with my vehicle were metal with a bolt head that you would need a wratchet to remove. I believe this product would be great for a non goverment plate, such as a team plate you would put on the front of your car, or for a name plate on a bike. I do not believe it would be secure enough for a license plate because it would be easy to remove.

    Great backup set.
    These are back-ups, you never know when you happen to notice you license plate is falling off. Hopefully, it will just be hanging and not gone. The AutoDrive Nylon License Plate Frame Fasteners, Black is pretty standard and should blend in with any vehicle plate and car. The spare should provide indiscreet repair without worry of mismatch. I have no need since we are all staying home these days, so there is a collection I need for my car, or someone else does for the other cars in this family. Losing your license plate is not to be taken lightly, since you will need to go through the process of applying and paying for a new set. Great thing is they are standard, AutoDrive Nylon License Plate Frame Fasteners in Black makes it easily to use. Nothing much I can say, just that the backup set is perfect. Things happened and I am prepared with my packet of AutoDrive Nylon License Plate Frame Fasteners.

    Just what I needed
    These little fasteners are just perfect for attaching the bottom of your plate to a license plate frame. My license plate didn't come attached to the bottom of my frame and was beginning to separate from the frame. Most fasteners were screws, but there was nothing to screw into. I just wanted to attach the bottoms so it didn't stick out. These were perfect, they were just a bolt and nut. They don't go into the car. They are nylon so they won't rust. Important here in the Northwest! Came in a pack of four bolts and four nuts. It took me under a minute to install.

    Good Stuff!
    These are great for any car, but especially if you're into black trim. The bolt and nuts finish is matte black and because its nylon it doesn't rust. Regular metal screws often have the rust run down on the plate/tag and make it look..."crappy". And when they rust into the bolts they are almost impossible to remove. These nylon screws fit in the original equipment screw holes on my Corvette, Camry and Lexus. Not sure about other makes and models. Note that the package contains 4 bolts and 4 nuts. If you have front and rear plates/tags in your state, you may need two packages. I recommend them!
