Doesn't work anymore after the EMP BY Mercedes
This scanner was fantastick and powerful on my 2016 Sprinter. But yesterday, after Mercedes Benz modification on my vehicle it stopped recognizing engine combustion type. Even if I put everything down by myself, the diagnosis on DPF and other components are unreadable.

    Diagnostics not compatible with '08 Sprinter
    Couldn't complete the initialization process for system diagnostics on my '08 Freightliner Sprinter. The live data feed worked but was never able to run diagnostics and retrieve fault codes, even with lengthy phone assistance from Autel. I don't know if this was a bug in this particular AP200 but I returned it and purchased an OBD scanner with fewer features. Seems like a great unit, wish that it had worked for me.

    It may work well if you could keep it connected. I have excellent Bluetooth functionality with everything else but never got a reading because no matter the distance it would disconnect and connect every few seconds

    Unreliable connectivity, good when it works.
    When this product works, it is fantastic. It's great at reading codes, the live data is easy to read and export as a PDF when you want to save it, and the diagnostic tools are helpful. This scanner works with the Hyper Tough 200 app on your phone. The app is free and allows use with one vehicle of your choosing without charge. If you want to use it with more vehicles, you have to pay. This wasn't a big issue for me since I only planned on using it with one. What makes this a two-star review is the fact that, for every time you use this tool, it only works correctly about 15% of the time at best. It's incredibly difficult to get it to connect properly, the app frequently crashes, and it can run extremely slowly when it does connect. I don't recommend this product due to it's unreliability. When I'm troubleshooting issues with my truck, I don't want to have to waste thirty minutes troubleshooting the scan tool on top of it.

    What kind of OBD scanner charges $21.99 per car database. luckily they give you 1 on the house. but I have 4 cars. and I'm not paying another $80 just to scan my car. will return ASAP

    Wireless convenience at a steep price
    If you're only ever going to use this on one vehicle then the convenience of wireless might be worth the extra cost but having to cough up another twenty bucks every time you use it on another vehicle means that you could be paying a LOT more for that convenience than you realized! Seems a bit bait-and-switch to me.

    Good for code reading and powerful diagnostic tool
    This device gives a lot of good information there is not comparison with inexpensive OBD2 it gives the ability to read dash indicator lights, full transmission diagnostics such as ABS, SRS etc.. also you can program keys, they app could be better.
