Great Pancake Mix
I really love this pancake mix. Pancakes come out light and fluffy and the taste is really good. If you're into eating pancakes or loving pancakes I think you will like this. This is perfect for your long-term pantry food storage or for a rotating pantry. All you need is water and a spoon to stir. The can label states you can make drop biscuits and more with this product. I can see adding fruit and other ingredients to make quick tasty breads or fruity pancakes. I have also bought the blueberry pancake mix and it is good. Many places have hiked up the price on this. Walmart is giving a real good deal on this mix compared to others selling the same product. It will last up to 10 years unopened. I put mine in glass jars after opening for more convenience and to preserve it longer.

damaged and no resolution
half the cans I ordered were severely dented due to terrible packaging. no customer service from walmart to help resolve the issue either.

    The bottom of can is slightly bent at the seal. Since the product is a dry pancake mix I don't think Botulism is a concern but I'm not real sure.

    DELICIOUSLY FLAVORFUL!
    These are THE BOMB! so flavorful...i love buttermilk pancakes...i bought these on another site but happy to see these on WALMART.COM this is a very trusted name brand much better than the regulars that you buy at the market... very simple... very light fluffy and flavorful...i would give 10 stars if i could...even better this brand is stocked and sold by WALMART...this will be a regular purchase?

    Love Augason products, but not damaged items.
    Love Augason products, BUT, Shelf stable canned freeze dried items cant be kept long term if cans are damaged. This marks the 6th time items have been delivered with dented cans. Maybe try bubble wrap? These shelf stable items may sit for 10 years before opening, so you want them in packaging that is not compromised in any way. Im likely done ordering from them as its more of a hassle to return over and over again just to get an intact delivery. From the reviews here and at the main website, this is not uncommon. Would recommend purchasing in store only so you can see what youre getting.

    High Percentage Damaged Cans
    Upon arrival, I inspected the #10 cans. 13 out of 18 cans purchased had bottom seam damage which can effect air seepage into can. On 09/20 I contacted customer service at Augason Farms and they (customer service manager) said they would replace the damage cans. It is now 09/29 and I have heard nothing from them in regard to replacement.

    Perfect pancakes every time
    It is nice to have a large supply of pancake mix on hand, one that works quickly, and does not require milk or eggs. This is my second purchase of this product and would recommend it to anyone. Sometimes I add frozen blueberries into the mix and they come out very well too. I have more success with this mix than other big name mixes and that is the only reason I keep using it. Economical and handy.
