Wrong inputs
Website was unclear about the inputs. The company info covered the whole line of monitors, not the specific monitor. I thought it had an Hdmi input but did not. Never plugged it in. The low rating is for Walmart not the product. I bought the right model at another store. So far I'm happy with it.

    CAN'T BELIEVE THE VALUE
    My old monitor (and I DO mean 'OLD') took a turn for the worst, so it was time to get a new one. Didn't have a lot of money for this unexpected expense, so I decided to go with this one - and I'm GLAD I did. What a DIFFERENCE! The screen is larger than my old one, and the COLORS are SO VIVID! It also has a lot of 'tweaking' options (color, contrast, viewing modes, brightness) that I won't mess with, because the quality of the picture is PERFECT in my opinion. Can't believe the value of this Asus monitor. Highly recommended.

    Overall a very good product for the price
    I am using it as a external monitor for my laptop. It works pretty good. Easy to setup. Colors look good. But for some reason the fonts looks a little compressed, broken lines in letters. I have tried a lot but not fixed. Apart from this everything looks good.

    Well worth the money. Very happy with the monitor
    I had gotten an HP monitor and took it back and replaced it with this one. Great monitor. Using it for a laptop, but would be good for any computer.

    Asus quality as always..
    I have owned 2 of these monitors, and both of them have performed well. The colors are rich and crisp, and you can pick from several modes including a night mode for easier viewing on your eyes. Assembly takes seconds, you simply twist the bottom plate onto the stand and you are ready to go. No dead pixels on either one and response time on fast motion videos is great. For the price you really can't go wrong on this. This model VS 197 only has the Sub D input which is standard, so it has no input for DVI or digital input , and you can get that on the next model up which would be a VS 198 . So if you're looking for Digital inputs or HDMI inputs get the next models up from this, it should say in the description that this only has one Sub D input. But for this price thats fine with me. I like the Asus line of products, I have an Asus computer also and they are all top notch products in my opinion...But one you won't regret it. Packaging is also excellent.
