Asus 21.5" monitor
I needed a second monitor for my desktop so we could watch movies at a closer range. This monitor works really great, I think it's made a little better than some others I have seen. I'm very pleased with my purchase. It connects with a VAGA and DVI-D cable which are included. If I ever need another monitor, I would first look at Asus brand.

Good monitor....lousy speakers.
The monitor picture is quite good, and the fit and finish is acceptable. But, the reason I bought this particular monitor was for the built in speakers, Although they are functional, thay have very little power and range. I ended up buying another set of speakers just so I can hear the output at an acceptable level.

    Perfect for what I wanted/needed. I wanted the 3 types of inputs (vga/hdmi/dvi). Right now using only dvi and vga on each. I have 2 computers connected to each and monitors switch automatically to whichever is powered up. The only downside is the speakers are as poor as everyone said on other reviews, not even a s good as laptop speakers. Fortunately I was prewarned and had proper expectations.

    Excellent monitor for less the cost!!
    Love the matt finish for the screen-everything functions as it supposed to! Had a little trouble with the "pre-setup" (menu) for the screen options, but overall very satisfied with this product!!

    Great monitor
    Excellent monitor. Super crisp image, tilts easily while still holding it position. It has a wide range of inputs so you can use it with practically anything.

    Documentation not great but good value
    I first hooked it up using standard video cable to test it. The plan was to use HDMI cable after that. Had to check the web to see how to change the input for HDMI but it was easy to find that info and the screen is GREAT! I use it a s a second monitor for my laptop when at home. Very happy and I'll buy another for my wife when her old flat screen dies.

    Exactly what we needed
    Our old monitor died (also from Walmart) after many years...found this on .com (not available in most stores..I called) and its perfect. The size fits our limited desk space, all the others were very wide. The sound from the speakers is pretty good and the color and clarity are great. Its mainly used for daily browsing, shopping and games so I cant speak for anything "intricate" and we don't watch movies on it, but for our needs it's well worth the money. Also, the site to store delivery was only a few days...great service.

    good
    I wanted to get rid of the speakers on my computer desk so i bought this monitor. The monitor works and looks great. ASUS makes a great product but the speakers are lacking. They sound high pitched and i can not run my HDMI out with my subwoofer. Windows 7 will only allow for sound output from either the HDMI or the headphone jack not both. So i still have my desktop speakers and my sub running from the headphone jack and the monitor runs on the HDMI.
