It is 4 cup size not 8 cup
It says 8 cup. Its actually 4 cup size. I was extremely disappointed when I received to delivery. They wasted my time. It should say 4 cup outside on the box. Nothing more or less.

    Haven't come across a better rice cooker
    This rice cooker is an absolute gem. This is our forth one as they have ended up at relatives houses. The price is perfect and the versatility is unbeatable at 20-30 bucks. We cook black, white, brown, and wild rice in this. Also, I use it to cook beans and oats. I haven't used the veggie steamer yet. It's so easy to clean with a paper towel and soapy water.

    Failed big time
    I've had my Aroma Rice Cooker for over 9 years, never had no issues with cooking even rice, grain, oatmeal, and steaming vegetables , it still works, it's the liner I needed anew one but couldn't find the right size so I bought this one it's suppose to be exactly the same! Boy was it a fail, wouldn't even heat the rice up, let alone cook it, instead all it did was seep out a horrific smell! I'll return this one, and keep looking for a new liner, it's not worth the hassle trying another one have a feeling it'll be the same issue!

    Excellent product, perfect rice every time.
    Great little rice cooker. Very easy to use and fits neatly away. I don't have to worry about the water bubbling up and making a mess on the cover like previous rice cookers I've had. Cleans up like a breeze and the rice does not stick on the pot, the non stick coating is excellent.

    Good machine, good price, with one caveat
    Pros: the end result was some good rice, it was really easy to clean, you don't have to sit around and “watch the pot”, it's easy to use. Cons: the instructions in the box point out that the cup they give you is actually only 3/4 of a cup. I made 2 1/2 of their cups to try to come up with my usual 2 cups of rice, but it seemed like I got less than that amount. Frankly the pot was pretty full with that amount of rice. I am not understanding how I could ever get 8 cups of rice out of this even if I considered their 3/4 of a cup to be a cup of rice. Since I'm never going to want to make 8 cups of rice, this isn't going to be a problem for me. I may be looking at something the wrong way here where amounts are concerned?? All in all, I'm quite happy with the way the machine worked and cleaned up. It makes my life easier. Glad I got the 8 cup rather than a smaller one. It is not a big machine as far as footprint, so storage is not a problem.

    OH YES- AND GRAB A COUPLE FOR HOLIDAY GIFTS TOO.
    Okay it costs a little bit more then your average rice cooker that's usually $20.00. This one was $29.00, and it is so fabulous. The pot, on the inside, is textured... kind of like it's ceramic. Whatever the material is, it's a good quality- because when you put it in the dishwasher, the outside of it doesn't discolor like the six previous rice cookers I bought! There's plenty of room to cook six cups of rice, and still steam a lovely meal for two. Besides, you have to admit it's cute as a button. Don't get a rice cooker where the steam rack is made out of some dubious aluminum garbage... I've probably owned 10 rice cookers in my life and never had that happen. The actual pot and steam rack once put in the dishwasher- the phony aluminum became spotted and weird- the food tasted horrible. This one is perfect. Like I said, it's got a ceramic interior and the steam basket is plastic, and yes the plastic is very durable... Happy rice cooking...

    Buy this!
    Ive used this every night for dinner since weve gotten it. Its amazing! My sushi rice has never been this perfect. I also did the rice dinner kits and it cooked them perfect too! I also love how its not as messy at the other ones and it seems to always cook it perfectly, and if not you can always add time unlike other ones! It looks like an instapot so it fits my decor well!

    Amazing worth the money
    I was skeptical at first because I'm so used to using a pan and water. But I wanted to try something different because sometimes my rice wouldn't cook all the way and I came across this rice cooker and let me tell you!! I just pour my rice and add water close the lid and press starts and does it on its own!!
