My Fish And I Love This Tank!
My 2 year old goldfish had outgrown his 10 gallon awhile ago, but I was too broke to get something bigger. Then I saw this AMAZING deal. I ordered this online and picked it up and everything went smoothly! Set it up and everything was in working condition. Filter works great, even picked up a couple more boxes of filters. The brand is so much cheaper than others I've had to purchase! Super, super happy with this purchase and definitely recommend this tank to anyone who wants to upgrade or start a new hobby:)

Not well made...
Part of this is may fault as I ordered when my husband was out of town and we didn't open it til recently but the tank was damaged....there was a BIG chip out of the base of the tank.

    Tank is great, filter not so much.
    I love the actual tank. It looks great. The filter stopped working after about a week. It sucks that they use a filter that you can't buy separately in case you want to replace it. That's the only thing I would change.

    Great Purchase and Jessica is over reacting
    Let me just say, Jessica (the review that showed up above with 2 stars) is so extra for no reason. Yes the lid does not have a hinge to stay open but it's not a big deal as its a light top that easily comes off with no hassle. The filter is a bit noisy but does not "drown" out any other noises. I can hear my family members perfectly well in the other rooms, (maybe her age is surpassing her - HOH). Now personally, I really enjoy this tank. I think it is the perfect starter kit for any hobbiest and thoroughly enjoy the tank. I've had the tank for a year now and have had my 3 fishes for just over 10 months who enjoy the tank. There is ample room for decorations without anything feeling cluttered. The kit came with many things I loved and the filter changes are pretty cheap! TBH, I really wrote this review because Jessica was very much raving about so many unnecessary "problems" that I think potential buyers should just take with a grain of salt.

    THE WORST!!! THE LID DOESN'T EVEN PROP UP/OPEN!!!
    I regret buying this fish tank for a few reasons and wish I would have read a review telling me these things before I purchased this and made the mistake. First, the lid does not have the option of being propped up/open. It is extremely frustrating when trying to clean the tank because if you barely get it out of the alignment, it falls into the tank, mind you the lights are also built onto the lid so this doesn't seem safe... I have hit my fish with it before on accident because it falls in the tank so easily. I hate it and would never buy it again for this reason alone. In addition to that, the water filter that comes with it, also would never get again. It ltierally splashes water everywhere, even with the lid on it and it is FAR from quiet and in fact is so loud when using that I can no longer hear things going on in my house or close by because it drowns out the sound of everything else, which being a mom, I prefer to be able to hear if my child is calling me from another room... The items that came with this tank are very inexpensive and not worth the extra $50 it costs to get this tank that is ridiculously high priced for being a "kit" at least if you ask me. I would not recommend this to anyone and feel it is one of the biggest mistakes I have made financially this year. My local pet store has 20 gallon tanks for $21 this one is $80 all because it comes with a few extras that are worthless, especially the lid that you cannot even prop open when needed and have to completely disassemble in order to clean the tank- I HATE THIS!

    Hood doesn't fit, filter is too loud and overfows
    It's basically fine except the hood does NOT fit, so it tends to fall in. Also, the filter is EXTREMELY loud due to the fact that the flow is too strong, so it is overflowing from every possible place and splashing very loudly into the tank. I will be spending a lot more extra money to get a filter that works better because this one is loud garbage.

    I picked this up in store at my local Walmart with a stand by the same brand. It was listed as plastic but it is definitely a 20 gallon *glass* tank. It's super cute all together and fits perfectly on the aqua culture stand that sits at about eye level when seated. I also purchased 4/5 bags of the black rocks Walmart carries and a black background which all look great. The large coral reef decoration is from PetSmart and the mini volcano bubbler I found at Petco. It was convenient being able to purchase everything in store and for a great price. The kit came with most everything we needed. I did purchase an air pump separate for the decorations. It's fun, a good size and my 4 and 6 year old just love it.

    The tank is pretty sturdy and looks great. The only thing that I don't care for it the top. It's a bit flimsy and the instructions aren't clear as to which side the filter goes on. Other than that, it's pretty great.

    Great 20-Gallon Aquarium
    Perfectly happy with this Aquarium. I have 11 healthy fish in it. Even though the filter works fine, I wish it was a little bit larger to move more water. But it does what it is supposed to do. No complaints.
