    Dont purchase if you plan to use apps or download.
    Isnt compatible with any app ABD will not you download anything. Whats pre-installed is all you get. No YouTube, Nothing Microsoft, nothing is compatible with it. Got this for my granddaughter for school and it wont work with anything

    I purchased this as a birthday gift for my youngest son who is turning 5 and was using my phone for educational games/apps as well as entertainment. I just couldn't see myself paying full price for a brand new one. This one arrived in 2 days, the condition is great. There was one small scratch on the back, but we'll be putting a case on it right away and it won't really matter. Turned it on, and works perfectly. I also purchased the additional 2-year protection for $40 just in case. My only concern was that I didn't feel it had enough packaging protection for shipping. I could hear it moving around inside the box and worried that it could have been mishandled and cracked. Fortunately it wasn't damaged. I'll definitely consider buying refurbished again in the future.

    Tried 2 other Tablets and returned them both (not iPads) then spent the extra money and got the iPad Mini and I love it. Only advantage to trying the other 2 first is knowing how much better the IPad is. Did Not Care For The Shipping Though. The Pony Express could have gotten it here quicker and tracking was non-existant.

    Not Refurbished by Apple
    $10 less than Store.Apple.com sells it for, but Walmart has their own refurb vendor; they are not refurbed by Apple, so warranty is only 90 days but can be extended by purchasing the extra warranty. Apple sells it for about $10 more, but states that the battery and front/rear cases are new, as well as packaging. Unit I received from Walmart appeared that the back cover was not replaced, because it had a scratch and a couple scuff marks on it. No mention from Walmart whether they replace the battery or the covers, and their product page does not state the Warranty which comes with it. In fact, they are a bit misleading because they state "Apple refurbished iPad Mini" which does not appear to be true. I called Apple, and they told me that the serial number of my unit is registered to someone else that purchased it about 2-3 months before me, and that my unit had 277 days of warranty coverage from Apple remaining on it (even though the small refurb/warranty card included in the unit's packaging states not to contact the mfr if you have an issue). Mine is going back to Walmart, and I will prob buy it directly from Apple for $10 more, free shipping, with new battery, front/rear cases, full 1 year warranty.

    Refurbished are you sure ?
    The iPad mini refubished realy look like à brand new product ! It's a great deal for any one want an iPad mini, it's realy beautiful and usefull for every day needs. The shopping was also realy short only 2 days for à store pick up. Perfect !
