I love the product but very annoyed that sticky tape was put all around the containers. The tape is difficult to remove and left alot of residue that cannot be removed...very ugly..can't even read the label now.

    Works better than hair gels but still not all day
    This works better than any of the hair gels I've tried, and your hair looks natural and not glued after it dries (even though it feels exactly like glue when you out it on). The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars is that it still fails to hold any shape in my short fine straight hair for more than a half day.

    Perfect for Hair Styling
    American Crew is perhaps the best forming cream that you can buy within a "reasonable" price range. Purchasing it through Walmart is actually cheaper than beauty supply stores and Amazon. Medium hold and medium finish is my preferred version because it doesn't make your hair look unnatural, greasy, flaky, or "too much". Add a little water in your hands to dilute the hold; use light hairspray to increase the hold. Highly recommended.

    I have been using this cream for several years, but find it impossible to find in the stores because I only use about 3-4 per year. I love this product and it works well for me; keeps my hair in place all day (and brushable) without the "firm hold" needed with the "sprays". I am so thankful that you DO catrry in on-line, and I will continue to purchase it from you. I was having my former barber in Richmond Hil, GA mail me 3 at a time for the past 4 years. So greateful to now get it from Wal-Mart and at a reasonable price. Keep up the availability.
