Heavy duty. Would be great on a camper, too
The first thing I noticed when this came in, was it's very quality packing. In my opinion, you can tell a lot about a company by the way they package their products to ship it to you. The light is very heavy, and the housing is very tough. I anticipate this lasting a long time on the truck. 12v, 10W equivalent power. 18 very bright LEDs. Dimensions are 1.69" tall housing, 1.82" tall including mounting. 6.15" wide. 1.88" thick. This would also be great on a camper!

Mighty and powerful
The Alpena HexFire LED pod light might be small but it makes up for that with how bright this light is. Easy to install only taking an hour or so and once it's in place you won't need any other lights for your vehicle. Don't let the size fool ya on this one!

    Great, bright, backup lighting
    I installed this on the rear of a truck that already had a bar light on the front. The vehicle is used for hunting and fishing and the lights are great for driving in the woods at night or setting up camp. Wanted a light on the back for use if needed to back up amongst trees and this is perfect. The bright white supplies an unbelievable amount of light. It was very easy to install and the instructions were well done. Solid, sturdy hardware and components should ensure this light lasts a long time. Great product for an outdoor enthusiast or as a work light. Highly recommend.

    I was actually really surprised about this light bar because of how small it was. He turns out it is super bright and I use it for my backup light on my truck. I ended up getting a couple more for my new fog lights system on my truck as well which has turned out work very well as well.

    Solid light to put on the front of my truck
    I attached this to the front of my truck. The assembly was moderately easy considering it came with all the screws and even the tools to use on them. It projects two different types of colors. One color is white and the other is an orange-ish amber color. I haven't really used the amber light so far. The white color is pretty convenient to see in the dark or to even just walk from the truck to my front porch without tripping on anything. The light it casts covers a considerable area. Overall, good purchase.

    bright 1000 lumens white light
    The Alpena Hexfire LED Pod Light comes in a pack of 1, so note that in case you need to get 2 because all the examples on the package shows 2 lights (though it does clearly say on the front of the package that there is 1 light). The first thing I noticed taking it out of the package is that it is already assembled, which is really helpful. There is a packing list and at first I thought I was missing parts until I realized they matched what was already attached to the back of the light. The light itself is dual colors, with the white light having 9 LEDs at 1000 lumens total and the amber light having 9 LEDs at 600 lumens total. The lights are very bright and are helpful when backing up at night. These would be great on a camper or other recreational vehicles as well. Installation went well once I knew where I wanted to place it and there are only 3 colored wires to connect. I haven't had the light long and there hasn't been any rain so I don't know how this will do in the elements, but so far it has worked well.

    These are very durable. They have awesome beam patterns for length and width. They have eighteen LED lights in each one. They optimize great lighting. They are for trucks front or back. Also ATVs etc. The entire hook up kit also comes with them it has stainless steel mounting hardware.

    Good Work Light
    First I would say about this led light, it is designed to be mounted to the rear of a truck, and used as a work light. It is fairly bright when both the top (white leds) and bottom (amber leds) are turned on at the same time, 1600 claimed by manufacturer... Not as bright as some light bars I have seen. There are 3 wires coming out of it: ground, amber on, and white on. I should also note that it requires a 3 way switch such as the #77631 InstallKit Dual in order to control the 2 colors independently. I do not have this kit, so I will tie the 2 colors together and they'll both be on all the time and controlled by a 1 way switch. I plan to mount it to the rear of my ATV as a backup light. I think for light-duty lighting for light jobs at night, this could work pretty well. The amber leds could also be useful as supplemental fog lighting in my opinion. It is fairly wide-angled light as well, so it won't be able to project a long distance away. It's best for close-range smaller jobs.

    Awesome Dual Color Light!
    This Alpena LED Pod Light is a must-have! The 18 LED light pattern is amazing and optimal for a long/wide beam. This light features 1000 beautiful white lumens and 600 amber lumens. The light also includes all stainless steel mounting hardware and is easily installed. It is perfect as a work light or mounted on your vehicle to navigate a rugged trail. I highly recommend this multi-purpose HexFire Dual light for work or play!

    Bright Light!
    This light is very bright! We have it installed on my husband's truck and so far he says he loves it. The “white” setting is VERY bright. I personally prefer the “amber” setting which is still sufficiently bright. The light was fairly easy to install but took me a bit of time. Overall a great light, highly recommend!
