Well made affordable sturdy double bike rack
Fits Honda 2009 Civic Hybrid. Since the lower padded support would block the license plate (which is illegal) I placed it above the license plate below the emblem which worked perfectly and raised the carrier's height too (see pic). Carried two children's bikes on this carrier on freeways at 65 MPH no problem. Very sturdy and does not become loose even after several weeks. Remember to tighten the bottom strap again after attaching bike(s). The added weight of bikes makes the bottom strap loose. If bottom strap is loose then you will notice that the bike(s) shake a bit when the car goes over bumps or potholes. After tightening the bottom strap there is almost no visible shaking. Also, I hit myself in the head when closing the trunk with this thing (silly me). I had to remind myself to step aside while closing ever since. Installation took about 15 minutes because I used bits of cloth to prevent scratching the pain. If I didn't use cloth it would have taken less than 15 minutes to install. Attaching and removing bicycles takes only a minute. It is very quick and secure. Rain water has had no affect on this rack. It is totally weather proof, although I do plan on removing it in the winter before the snow season.

Good Rack, but Damaged My Car!
This is a great two bike rack that I had about a year or two ago on my old car. It worked perfect on it! I got a new car last year and just got this rack again for it and it says that it's compatible with my new car. I used it a couple of times and just now noticed that the bottom part of the rack had dented the trunk and left nasty scratches that now I'll have to pay for since their customer service is garbage. Don't put a vehicle on the list that isn't full compatible… if you get this rack I recommend putting some extra padding on the bottom part of the rack or it could possibly damage your vehicle. It says it holds 70 lbs of bikes. The two bikes I use with it are way less than 70 pounds and the way the trunk is shaped causes it to push in and the metal ends up scraping the trunk. It should be one long foam padding on the bottom instead of one piece of foam on each side.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/27/2023Perfect little shedThis is the second shed that I have bought. The perfect size to put my folding patio chairs in. It protects the chairs from the weather, so I don't have to worry about them being “sunburnt.” I also like the fact that it can be open from the top and/or from the front.Anne

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/04/2023ALMOST LOST A BIKETHE BIKE RACK WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND PLACE ON THE VEHICLE BUT THE STRAPS THAT HOLD THE RACK TO THE TRUNK ARE "FRICTION" CONNECTORS WHICH ARE TO WEAK AND INSUFFICIENT TO HOLD A WEIGHT BOUNCING UP AND DOWN ON THE BACK OF A VEHICLE. WE ALMOST LOST OUR BIKE AFTER 2 HOURS OF INTERSTATE DRIVING. THE COMPANY SHOULD CONSIDER SOME SORT OF RATCHET BINDING TO MAKE IT MORE SECURE.Alan

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/16/2023NOT universalMentions that it does fit my car year and model but it certainly does not unless I want to risk my rear window to break while traveling. Even the weight of one child's bike put enough pressure to scare me. Started to bend the metal on my vehicle and I followed the instructions to a T. Used every anchor point and even watched a YouTube video on how to secure it safely. Will not be able to use this model on my vehicle.Sarah

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/29/2022A pain in the glass! It seemed to fit my 2018 Nissan and worked great for about a week or so, but my in-laws used my car and went to open the trunk. Once they realized they couldn't access it, they closed it. IT SHATTERED MY BACK WINDOW COSTING ME $500!! The strap still shifted even though everything was tight. So much for a $32 bike rack.angryrobin

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/10/2022Great bike rack, works very wellThis is such a great bike rack! We were not sure about it before buying but it did fit our SUV perfectly. Just make sure you put a little padding under the metal parts that hook onto the car so that it doesn't get scratched. We transported two bikes over 1000 miles on this bike rack through snow, rain, and winds but the rack remained stable and didn't move from its place! Would highly recommend!KS

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/18/2021horrible customer service company and bike rackbike rack damage my car along with coming apart. The straps started to come apart and did not hold the bike up properly. when I called up the company they refused to send me just a basic strap to repair the one that came apart I only had the bike rack for 3 months. I continue to send them emails and after about the fourth one they still wouldn't send me a bike strap after I sent pictures. incompetent company incompetent employees. did not back up their warranty. luckily Walmart did and refunded my total purchase price.Dtruth
