My son loves the crossbow, easy to use, safe, loves it so much I had to get 1 as well to play with him lol..

This rating is not for the toy itself, but for the fact that it was delivered from a Walmart store by itself with no packaging. This was a gift was supposed to be from Santa Clause for my 6 year old son who opened the door and saw it. Thank you Chi, the delivery driver and Walmart for being so cheap as to not even deliver it in a bag during the holidays and ruining Christmas for us.

    Cheaply made
    For the price these sale for they are not worth it. It is a great toy when it works. It worked great for a few days but it started jamming up and now one side of the strings have broke off . He can't use it at all now. You can tell it's a cheaper plastic than most. I would not recommend this particular battery operated dart cross bow for anyone.

    Fun crossbow with darts for kids
    My kids 12 & 5 both love this crossbow!!! They have played with it every single day since we got it. The set comes with a crossbow, 20 darts, 2 flip clips and a battery operated red dot scope. It shoots up to 100 feet!! The crossbow is very easy to set up which is nice for my 5 year olds little hands. The colors are nice and brilliant. Easy to find the darts in the grass. We will be getting more of these. They would make really good gifts as well!

    Fun for the whole house
    My 10 year old son enjoys playing with this battery operated adventure force crossbow. The shooting distance is pretty far, it is much farther than I was expecting it to be. It is very lightweight and the accracy of the darts when shooting long distance are somewhat ok just not that great because they are made of light foam. They are pretty gentle so no one will get hurt if you shoot them with the darts. It kind of reminds me of those old school nerf toys but better. The crossbow comes with 20 darts and two mags using 10 per clip. It is battery operated using two AA size batteries for the red dot scope so you can have better accuracy when you are aiming. It will also work and shoot without any batteries. My kids love this toy so much till every child in the house plays with it daily.

    Get your dart war on!
    This toy is awesome! From the cross-bow action to the red dot pinpoint scope, your kid is sure to love the Adventure Force Crossbow with Darts and Clips! The scope does require AA batteries that are not included but it is worth supplying! Even if you don't have the batteries, your child can still shoot the darts at the target from 100 feet away! I am thankful they are not high-powered though, because my boys can get pretty rough! They are gentle enough to aim at targets without hurting anything. It comes packed with two dart clips and 20 darts to keep the game going without having to reload every five seconds! They are pretty durable darts, too! I love the bright colors of the bow and the pull-back action of the bow! This is finally something new and entertaining for my boys that doesn't require a bunch of maintenance (or batteries to shoot the darts!). It is recommended for ages 8 and up, so prepare yourself for a dart war!

The Adventure Force Crossbow with Darts and Clips, Battery Operated comes with 2 clips that hold 10 darts each, just load them up put batteries into the Adventure Force Crossbow with Darts and Clips, Battery Operated and you are ready to go. the Adventure Force Crossbow with Darts and Clips, Battery Operated is not just for kids, I am having just as much fun with it. The long range darts can shoot up to 100 feet. The red dot in the scope of the Adventure Force Crossbow with Darts and Clips, Battery Operated really helps with aiming. I do find the removable stock on the Adventure Force Crossbow with Darts and Clips, Battery Operated a little weak and could break easily. But that said the Adventure Force Crossbow with Darts and Clips, Battery Operated will make a perfect birthday gift or Christmas gift.

    Great shooting range...
    I received this Adventure Force Crossbow from the Spark Reviewer Program. I have 3 boys that absolutely love shooting off these dart guns. The first comment from my 11 year old was, "wow, this gun shoots really far"! He was impressed. And he's had lots of experience with dart guns. He also mentioned that the scope was a little off. I liked the fact that it came with 20 darts and 2 mags. The scope is a great feature as well. (takes 2 dbl A's) Just a heads up, you need a good pair of scissors to remove the gun and accessories from the packaging. And it takes a while. All in all, it's a fine dart gun.

    This is a great toy
    Okay I got this for my grandsons to play with when they come over but I am enjoying this as much as they are. Growing up I wanted a crossbow and the grandsons are following in my footsteps. Ha, Ha! This is battery-operated with a scope that actually has a red dot to really show where you are aiming. This leaves no excuses for the boys to say, “I didn't know it was going to hit him in the eye, ear, etc”. This set includes the crossbow (of course), the scope, two clips to each hold 10 of the darts, and 20 long distance darts. And when I say long distance I mean it, the darts really fly! Up to 100 feet according to the statement on the box but I personally think they might go a little bit more. Recommended for ages 8 and up. You do need to purchase batteries – 2 AA and a 1.5v. I don't think that I would recommend this as an indoor game unless you have a large area. The darts work with most of the dart guns out there which is good because when the boys are playing it is a free-for-all grabbing darts to reload their guns. The only drawback with this toy is that everyone wants to use it instead of the other dart guns we have.

    fun toy for a young boy!
    when my son saw this crossbow he was too excited! i liked the bright colors and the option to load the foam darts into the clips instead of having to load them one at a time like with other toys. it reminds me of the old Nerf toys we used to buy for my oldest son that he loved playing with. the darts launch a good distance so make sure you don't loose them. it has a battery operated scope to produce a red dot that he loved because he felt like he was really a hunter like his uncles!
