Anthony dolphin review of Acer cloudbook
The initial set up was fast and included connecting to my internet WiFi or software updates and downloads. Keyboard is big enough and a mouse pad responsive and large enough for my needs

Acre Aspire Cloudbook 14 grey
I bought this item for my college granddaughter. It worked well for over 6 months then it decided, on its own, to starting saying "installing windows , your computer will restart several times. Sit back and relax." Since she lives out of state, she just got it back to me and sure enough that it all it does.

    not a good computer
This acer computer is the worst computer I have worked with. It was bought for my granddaughter. She downloaded Origins on it so that she could play Sims 3. Every time she would start the computer an error would come up saying that there was a script error.. Give me the option of continuing, canceling or fixing. Usually I had to cancel to get it to finally start and proceed on to her game. Getting tired of this procedure I decided on doing a factory reset and start all over. I am now on my 4th day of waiting for windows to install. Don't buy this computer it is not worth your money

    Nice inexpensive lap top
I paid $147.00 for this in the walmart store about 4 mos ago. It has performed flawlessly. The speakers are the worst I have ever heard in a lap top so do not expect much. I am going to buy a set of nice bluetooth speakers shortly to try to compensate. The speed is excellent on my home network, my Canon printer works great (usb) and I really have no complaints about this little work horse. I don't do gaming and removed most of the bloatware first off. I use this for surfing, e mail, shopping and some photo posting. I have several other lap tops that were lots more expensive, have more bells and whistles and are currently out of commission for one reason or another. This lap top just keeps on plugging away. I carry it with me on trips frequently and have never had a problem at all. Base on my experience I recommend this model for the price and features. Buy an external DVD drive and you are set !

    Ok laptop
The laptop is nice in that it's thin, sleek, and has a loooong power life. However, the screen is way too thin that it could easily break with an accidental fall or if a child steps on it. Also, it's very slow. I had to return it. Good laptop for someone that seldom uses it but would like to have one just in case.

    Very disappointed
My boyfriend got this laptop about a year ago from the Walmart in Moorhead, MN just for something to use for business. And about a month ago he was going to give it to me for my 18th birthday and tried to reset it to the factory setting so I could use it. When he tried to do this, it completely stopped working. It will turn on then it will stay on the screen that I have shown in the picture included. Then it will just go black and it will just switch between the 2 screens as long as it's on.

    Faulty computer
Not worth the money.. be sure to take it back the first sign of being faulty, you only have 15 days to get a refund or exchange. I have been loyal and partial to Walmart for more than 30 years , today that friendship is over. I will save lots of money by shopping else where. for months I've watched their prices rise and been ok with that . today after taking back a computer that does not work well and its only 36 days old I have never taken anything back to Walmart for any reason, I hate standing in line for a refund or exchange. the computer is suppose to be new and it will not hold a charge and it shuts down and starts back up when it wants to. I went shopping last Sunday at Walmart for groceries and could have saved money at another store but i loved Walmart and the convenience of one stop shopping. NO MORE I will find another store and stay with them until the get too big for me like KMART did when I left them for Walmart

    Nothing special
There is nothing special about this computer. It runs fine, the keyboard is a bit buggy, but you can't have everything. It is very light without a harddrive or dvd drive, and the temperature is under control. The 12 hour battery life is great, and pretty accurate. If you need a cheap laptop, this one seems pretty good.
