Price / quality: very good! Should be BEST SELL
DISPLAY: it's huge, balanced colors, although a little less vibrant than an iPad. It is bright and very beautiful. It is not IPS but it is not TN either, or if it is, it is greatly improved. KEYBOARD: very good resistance to touch and very little sound when typing. Some complain that the letters are gray and hard to see, but that is a problem if you are one of those who see the keyboard when typing. Next to a lamp or raise the brightness of the screen to the maximum you will not have problems. It has no backlights (a lie in advertising!). But CAPS LOCK and FN key have LEDs. BATTERY: A normal use of watching videos, using Office and emails in 4 hours. Little compared to other laptops, but remember that the screen is 17 ". Recharging the battery takes less than two hours. CONSTRUCTION: the silver color is very nice, clean and attractive. Although it feels like it can be scratched easy. It is very light compared to the size. PORTS: USB C and A type. very fast. HDMI is instant. RAM: 8GB is definitely enough if you only watch videos, surf the internet and do work in Office or Zoom ... but if what you are going to do is edit audio, video, use heavy programs, it is advisable to buy a 16GB memory of 2400 MHz They are at US $ 60. Very easy to install. WINDOWS: It's a normal Windows 10 but not with the "S" flavor (thanks Asus). He barely has McAffe (who buys antivirus having Windows Defender for free ?, uninstalls that). Now Windows Update took 2 hours to download and install the updates. After that, everything has been very smooth. PRICE: I bought it for $ 379 and in two days I picked it up at Walmart SuperCenter. WEBCAM: it is a normal one, better than average but don't expect it to look like when you do FaceTime. But if it is for educational environments or calls from friends, it is more than enough. The colors are good. It's just not HD. Considerations: The screen is Full HD but it won't look as vibrant as an iPad. But if you are going to use it indoors it is perfect! The battery lasts little compared to other models, but remember that it is 17 "and this laptop will always be on my desk, so I do not mind that the battery lasts little. AMD Ryzen 3 is very very good and fast. This version 3250U It is much better than the 3200 of other laptops because it heats up less and is more energy efficient. Theoretically you can install a 32GB RAM but remember that 4 GB will already be soldered on the motherboard. The graphics card will always take 2GB so that although it says that it has 8GB, you will only use 6 GB of ram available for Windows.

    Washed Out Colors
    The colors in pictures are washed out. I have worked on this problem for days but can't get it to permanently go away. Sometimes, if I change the window from full screen to part screen and back to full screen the washed out colors clear up.

    It's still a little early
    I just got it a few days ago. I bought my dad one of a similar build which he has had several issues with and I'm hoping I won't have the same. Mine already seems to start up a little slower than my dad's, after declining 3 photos from the screensaver (i.e. "Do you like this image?") no other image since this morning has become available to program my interests. The laptop looks really nice. I preferred black but it wasn't an option, however, the texture on the top makes it look nice. The screen quality is amazing, and so is the 17" screen. I'm not sure if the SSD is pre-installed. I couldn't find anything about it in the system settings, and my package came with a smaller box inside with something that looks like it needs to be attached to a hard drive?!

    ASUS VivoBook 15 15.6" Full HD AMD Ryzen 3 8GB Me
    Just received and I think for the price this Ali's a great computer. The webcam isn't the best in the works but that is easy to replace with an external webcam. Miya fast and perfect for my wife and I. Note: we are not gamers. The bigger screen is pleasant compared to my older 13 inch MacBook I loved Mac but the prices just don't make sense for how I use the computer.

    Great features
    Just bought my ASUS VivoBook 17 M712 and I a very happy with the product. I do wish it had an ethernet connection and left and right buttons on the touchpad. I did a lot of shopping before I made my decision and this laptop was the best buy I could find. After using the product now for more than a month I know I made the right decision.

    Well worth it
    This laptop has amazing speeds. The boot up is faster than any other pc I've ever owned before. the video is crisp and clear. I run two monitors off of it and there's no lag created. my only complaint is the lack of a network port. Without that, I'm unable to utilize my highest speeds from my ISP.

    All is good except for poor technical support. Ram setup with only one slot, bios loads in legacy but formatted Uefi, need uefi for better performance on SSD drives with no option s to change from the legacy bios. Having no luck acquiring the caddy for a 2.5 SSD drive

    It's so fast! I love it! It's the fastest computer I ever had. I play games on it like GTA and Sims 4 with no problem. It even loads very fast! I am absolutely in love with this computer! And for the cost it's really Awesome!
