Great new UPS
I am using this product as a replacement to an older model. I like how it is now smaller, and yet delivers the same amount of time on battery power. Another great addition is 2 usb ports on the front, one being a USB C port. This is very handy for me since my systems only has one USB C port, on the back of the tower. I have a very power hungry system, and with 2 monitors, so having about 19 minutes of backup time is very comforting. I have been using for a week, and so far no complaints, if that changes will update review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

a design issue you should know about
After using this product for a month it refused to turn on. Replaced with an identical model with same results. After some work with the dealer I concluded APC knows about this problem. Their solution? Don't turn the unit off! Which, for various reasons I usually do when my system is down. Restarting the unit involves disconnecting and reconnecting the batteries, which is a bother. I would not knowingly buy a product with this feature.

    Way better than the cyberpower I have...
    Takes care of the needs of my power hungry computer that draws 800w at peak. Switches perfectly when the power goes out.

    Excellent product
    Already had two 1375 versions of this battery that I love. Needed another one and they had the 1500VA here for a steal price. The brand is reliable and the backups are great for what they claim. Don't expect this to be a generator for if power goes out in your house. It's for smaller things like having time to close your computer down properly if power goes out or similar types of things.

    Long life and great protection
    I live in FL, the lightning capital of the USA. My last Back UPS 1500 died after nine years so I was impressed as it took many voltage surges and power failures. My new Back UPS 1500 worked perfect out of the box. Setup was easy, no problems. Fits nicely in the corner of my work desk.

    Perfect Battery Life
    I was able to test this UPS the other day when lightning strike near by knocked out the power. This unit is great, The power went out and i was able to keep my network up and running until the utilities came back on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    great Looking packed with lots of power
    i got this product a month ago and it has been working great. Able to control many devices and has enough power that gives me time to shut down work computers in time to save data. The only con is the powershute software is slow in responding to menu changes. When I bring it up and then try to move to another menu choice, is takes about 10 seconds. I will be working on solution for that if continues with vendor.
