It rocks!
Naturally since this is AC/DC it rocks! I will say there are some tracks that are quite difficult on the guitar or on vocals. I have to give harmonix credit for mapping out the game as close as possible to the actual concert. The bad part about that is on a couple songs there are long repetitive sections where the band was resting a bit during the concert. However the live sound and REAL crowd noise make for a uniquely exciting gameplay experience. This is a MUST HAVE for any AC/DC or "Rock Band" enthusiast.

Not That Great Of A Game
After playing this game with my son, I have to say that we only played a couple songs then took it out. It just has no comparison when you own Rockband 3. I'm just thankful that it didn't cost an arm and a leg. People who are fans of AC/DC would probably love it, but we like harder rock and we like the songs to show their difficulty.

    To the guy below. ACDC LIVE, is only a rock band & rock band2 track pack (song add-on) is just that, a disc that contains songs to switch over to the main games. if you want to create your own rocker, then get the main games or stop whining. it's not a main game, (unlike the beatles) so therefore it will not have the same features. again, you want the big features, buy rockband1,2, or the beatles to do so, other than that stop complaining, rock band did a good job with this track pack. as for guitar hero, they need to stick to guitar only games. they have far too many "broken charts" (very unrealistic comparison to the real notes) as far as drums go. other than that, thanks harmonix for a great track pack. looking forward to more.

    Transfer the Songs
    The game itself, isn't very fun to play; but when you transfer the songs over Rock Band, the songs are a blast to play.

    ACDC + Rock Band = Awesome
    Love it and it makes a great addition to the tracks we already have for rock band. As a stand alone game its just as fun as the regular game, only with less songs, but fun none the less. IF you love rock band then you probably love ACDC so its pretty much a no brainer.

    I absolutely love it. Though i did not actually play the disk itself very long because of the set up of the game, I immediately downloaded the songs so that I could play them on RB2. . The HUGE upside to this track pack is the fact that its AC/DC, i mean what other band does rock better than them? The sound was perfect, and even though all the songs were live, it really did not have the overall impact on the quality (personally i think live songs sound horrible compared to studio). . Probably the only thing that could have been better was to have characters that actually look like the members of AC/DC themselves, but nothing real big, although when competing with Guitar Hero, no short cuts should be taken, if your going to go big with AC/DC then they aught to be taken as big as possible and on top of that I may have actually taken the time to beat the disk game itself instead of going strait to RB2 with them. . Over all this game is a must buy to complete any Rock Band music collection, i would recommend it to any fellow Rock Band players, young or old, n00b or expert alike. And remember, For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).

    Viva ACDC! Shame on Rock Band.
    I wish it was Guitar Hero the ones that got ACDC instead of Rock Band. There game as is doesn't allow you to customize yourself on stage or to choose different venues to play, nothing! At the very least, I would have expected to see the virtual ACDC members on stage but of course not . The overall graphics are blurry and don't seem to be worthy of a 1080p screen either. At the end of most of the songs there is a "freestyle" section in which you just play any notes and your guitar sounds like if you were a guitar god going nuts, childish. I like to at least feel that I'm doing something for the song! Really dissapointing the Rock Band team. Having said that, I give two thumbs way up to ACDC. Thay are such a jewel, the songs are just awesome and ultimately that 's why I bought the game. I can't help, however, to think why Guitar Hero had to go for Aerosmith and do such a wonderful job with their so so songs rather the the ultimate rock band: ACDC.

    This is a must have for any AC/DC fan, especially if you like RockBand! The track list is the same as the track list on their live cd. I found some of these songs to be more challenging in my difficulty level than most on the other RockBand track list, which I liked. I wish that there would have been more songs but I would recommend this as a good purchase!

    I Still Recommend It
    I DEFINITELY recommend it if you're an ACDC fan like I am. However, if you're buying it just to add the songs to your RB/RB2 list, you might feel ripped off like I did that you spent $40 just to use the voucher code on the back of the instruction manual to download it from the Music Store. This game is pretty much just RB with only the featured AC/DC songs.
