Fabulous Bike!
Been looking for a good bike for awhile. Great for a tall gall like me, and very comfortable and lightweight. They even put it together for me. I just had to ask! I love it! :)

Less than impressed
The bike was uncomfortable (I'm a 5'6" female and felt like I was falling forward), not easily assembled by a novice (many parts, like who really has a baseline knowledge of brake adjustments, and my dad pointed out I had a 'user error' of placing the handlebars on backwards!), requires additional tools that aren't handy in the home, direction pictures weren't that specific, and the rear derailer started jamming into the tire spokes when I shifted into first gear. Resourced my dad to help fix, and that didn't help. I returned easily to Walmart (I was impressed with how nice they were) ... So I went to Dicks, spent $300 instead of $150 on a Diamondback and couldn't be happier! Maybe you'll have better luck!

    Perfect
I got this bike last year for a discounted price, and it has served me well! Easy gear transitions, comfortable, and gets the job done and done well. Wish the seat could go a little shorter, though, but that's my only complaint! Their assembly and pickup process was very helpful.

    Ugh.
It came in the mail.. Bike was nice but it was too high for me. I an 5'4 and my tires couldn't touch the ground. I couldn't tighten up the seat no matter how much I tighten it up.

    Love the bike
The bike is great..bought a more comfortable seat. However; there were several paint chips and a dent. Not sure if it was from the manufacture or from Walmart when it was assembled. I didn't want the hassle of returning and reordering and re-assembly, so I will live with it.

    Great ride
I really like this bike. It rides smooth, and shifts smoothly. The seat is tall. I'm 5'5 and have to stretch with the seat all the way down. Easy to assemble. Seat is not horribly uncomfortable. The color is great.

    Too tall
I really want to like this bike. I'm 5'4 and I can only touch the ground with my toes but to pedal it's perfect so I'm not exactly sure what the difference is. Someone said they bought a new seat post and that worked for her. I'm a tad hesitant to change out parts. I can stop if I kind of lean to the side and touch my foot down. That's not exactly the safest way to go but I don't want to return it. The price was too good.

    Good hybrid bike!
I have a mountain bike and a tri bike, but I wanted something to ride causally, so I did some research and decided on this bike. And I love the plum color and have received many compliments on it. I had to assemble the bike myself, which was a bit of a chore, but I'm glad I did. This bike has many features and it was good to be able to make adjustments as I went along. I learned a lot about what the bike has to offer. I may have ignored those items had the bike been already assembled. But now I know what the bike is capable of. I'm 5'4 and several of the comments on this site as well as others state that this bike is not good for a short person. It's simply not true. I've even had to lift the seat and handlebars. Maybe I have long legs, but I don't believe so. If you read the manual, assembly and adjustments can be made fairly easily. I've only ridden the bike less than 20 miles on mostly flat ground, but it rides very nicely. It has a bouncy suspension that takes the edge off an unexpected curb jump or pothole! The bike is heavier than I expected. I don't like that, but seeing as my son knocked it to the ground no less than 2 hours after I assembled it, I'm glad for the added durability! The ride is smooth over grassy lawns, uneven sidewalks, and bumpy streets. Shifting gears is a little strange, but it works well enough. Brakes are standard and responsive. The seat is uncomfortable and I will be changing it. I also don't like the seat height bar. It has no trip so the seat may slide down if you hit a bump. Overall, there are a few things that take getting used to, but it's a good bike. I'm pleased I purchased it and I'm sure it will last a long time. I will be taking the bike on longer rides on a packed dirt road and will update this review afterward. Was this review helpful?
