Perfect user-friendly tablet !
I shopped around pretty thoroughly on there sites and on Walmart. com and I have better than average knowledge and understanding of hardware, software, and computer processing. This tablet's specifications, for the price, is a great, great bargin. Beginning with the 10" display size to the Android 5 Lollipop OS, it's, in my opinion, the BEST complete package offered out there. Can't get more anywhere for less. Seriously. .

i didn't expect much from these tablets...
..but i did not expect them to arrive with screens that were covered with scratches as if they had been thrown around the parking lot. Note that I bought 3 of these tablets and every one had scratches all over the screen. They are barely usable, and the scratched up screens make it even worse. I'd return them but it's not worth the time and hassle since I can't return them to Walmart.

    Average tablet that gets the job done
    I purchased this tablet to watch Netflix, Youtube and use for general internet use. My laptop is getting old and I am a nursing student so using my laptop for school and leisure time was too much for it. I am on a budget so I purchased this tablet more for the price. I got it during Cyber Monday week so it was a decent price for being 10 inch. I did notice though that the screen response can be a little slow sometimes and shutting it down at night helps keep things running better on it. If I forget to turn it off at night and try to use it the next day sometimes it tells me to check my wifi connection. I then turn it off and back on and it seems to work fine. Overall, despite these little issues, its not a bad tablet. But if I were to recommend a tablet for a friend I would suggest they look at other brands.

    I purchased this tablet for my father for Christmas, he's not tech savvy so my husband set it up for him. We have loaded weather apps, games he can play online and offline and it was very easy to do. The graphics are great and it will be easy for him to use. I would highly recommend this! Great value for the price....I did buy the extended warranty that goes with it just in case.

    It worked well for about two weeks.
    The screen size is great. HD quality great. Picture quality great. It takes excellent pictures. A little heavy. Great price. I say go with with something else even if it's more expensive. Instead of replacing this one not worth it.

    TG TEK tablet ....new experience
    I had high hopes for this little tablet. At first, it was great....very fast and easy to set up. Since I've never really dealt with Android or a tablet, I didn't realize how limiting it is. I've used PC's since before time :) My smartphone is Android, but I don't really use it. Android is very different than Chrome. I couldn't copy and paste....my Gmail emails were not easy to read/find. I can't really speak for typing on a tablet b/c I use a usb keyboard and mouse. I purchased a usb hub w/ micro usb connector. Those 2 items made my tablet experience much more tolerable, but then again, you use lose your mobility. Also, the TG-TEK had good days and bad days. When I first got it, it was fast :) The more I used it, it would have fast days and slow days. Sometimes it would freeze up. I just don't have time for that nonsense. I have returned the tablet and purchased a great little Acer C720 Chromebook. It is the BEST! I got it for $159 (at Walmart, of course) and purchased the 2 yr. extended warranty. Word to the wise, ALWAYS purchase the extended warranty. So, if you are going to buy a tablet, spend more money and get a better product.

    Not worth it
    Had it less than a week and it locked up. When I rebooted it, it got stuck in booting screen. If you can get a hold of someone at TG-TEK, they are not English speaking so you have a strong language barrier there. There is no way to do a hard reset of this unit, at least not what I've found. If I could give this zero stars I would.

    Purchase with service plan!
    Nice tablet, good price! It came with two screen protectors (one was on the tablet and one was in the box) and a charger. Downloads apps that some of the other tablets won't download. The reason I am rating this item 1 star is because it stopped working after having it for only 19 days. It wouldn't turn on. I tried charging and resetting it but nothing worked. Being I didn't purchase a service plan, I only had 15 days to return it or get a refund. You would think they would give you atleast 30 days, but they don't! Lesson learned! I have purchased another one with a service plan. I recommend this item and I also recommend paying the extra service plan fee in case it decides to suddenly stop working after 15 days. Doing so will save you a lot of time and money. I do not recommend purchasing this item without a service plan. If you do, good luck!
