Great laptop for the price
Purchased this as a replacement for my $500 Lenovo 17inch laptop. This Toshiba is a little smaller and much lighter and works great for me. The screen is clear and easy on my eyes. Watching Netflix is smooth and clear with no problems. Speed is decent (not as fast as my Lenovo) and camera picture quality is also nice. Set up was easy and I did not have any issues. Battery life is good, so far I've been using this laptop off and on (leaving it on sleep mode) since receiving it 5 days ago and I haven't had to recharge it yet and it's showing above 60% life. So far no negative issues yet, only time will tell.

Bad experience
The laptop is nice to look at but it does not have enough storage space to operate. We had to buy and additional SD card to have enough storage space to make it function. Also it has no CD drive and that was not something that I saw when I read about the product. I also ordered the office suite to go along with this product and once I loaded the program there was barely any storage space left. I bought this for my child for a gift for college and it was too late to return it because he needed it now. So we have modified it the best we can we also bought an external flash drive for more space. I am very disappointed with Toshiba. I felt the advertisement was not put forth very well. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

    only minor issues when computer updated , the problem came with the help people it took 4 different people and 4 calls to correct something I could have done in 3 seconds

    another glitch in their website
    this was my 2nd return of WalMart's laptops offered online. Once again Im disappointed as the site clearly stated it had both an Ethernet hard cable connection as well as the port on the side. TWICE upon picking them up it did NOT This site like so many others nowadays simply throw it up against a virtual wall by their site's web designer and dont bother to physically check for inaccuracies buyer beware

    Don't waste your time...
    My old computer was wearing out and I started looking for a new one. I'm not much of a computer person and don't need anything fancy so I thought this might work fine. I took off a bunch of programs for gaming and garbage that I would never use, downloaded Chrome and started using it. Not only where the pop ups unbelievable and annoying, but the computer froze every 30 minutes on the clock. I could literally time it. Walmart was wonderful at taking the item back and I bought another Acer. I will not ever buy a toshiba product again...

    NOT ENOUGH MEMORY
    I LIKED THE SIZE AND WEIGHT, BUT THE OS PRETTY MUCH TOOK CARE OF ALL THE MEMORY. IT IS MORE LIKE A TABLET WITH KEYBOARD. WOULD ONLY BE GOOD FOR SURFING THE NET.

    Very Disheartened Customer
    When I purchased this computer, as I knew nothing about memory space, RAM speed, graphics information, I went in sorta blind. (That's on me) Still, I thought it would support some of the things I needed it to but I was highly disappointed. Not only couldn't I download then play the few games I like, upon speaking with computer builder friends of mine, even they were astounded and dumbfounded at the 2 GIG's of memory space on this. One comment was "Do they even make computer with so tiny a memory space amount?" So, would I recommend this to a friend? Absolutely not! In fact, were any of my friends contemplating buying this computer, I'd direct them anywhere else but to buy this computer. How, other than as an introductory tool for children for computer basics 101, can you truly call this a "computer?" If anything, it's more like a kindle tablet. Very disappointed and disheartened indeed.

    Hard drive is ridiculously small
    The computer came with Windows 10. Start-up was fine. Then Microsoft sent me a message that updates were ready. This was on the next day after purchase. I had not stored any personal items such as photo's or music files. Guess what? The hard disk had no spare capacity to update the first update from Microsoft! The solid state hard disk is fast, but it is only 32 GB, and the Windows 10 system takes up almost 28 GB! Ridiculous configuration. If you buy this computer, you will immediately need to purchase an external hard drive. This would be a great computer if it came with 64 GB minimum hard drive storage. Kudos to Walmart for refunding my money without a problem.

    No Ethernet port as stated
    I specifically bought this computer because it stated it had a Ethernet port as my Wi-Fi is not the best around my home. Upon arrival it does not have a Ethernet port, so if the description would have been accurate I would have not purchased this model as the primary focus was a laptop with Ethernet capability.

    Got mine for Two Oh Nine
    After extensive research and reading reviews left and right, I bought two of these Toshibas; one for me and one for my little sister. Very sleek computer....nice!! Although, I wish I would have waited till the pagan Thanksgiving Day to get it at $189.00!! I would have saved another 40.00 or more dollars...I bought my two at $209.00 a pop!! (yeah yeah, I'm cheap and I'm proud) LoL!!
