HAS PLEX!!!
bought this for my room to replace an old projection tv. the tv is awesome, the apps load quick and work well with the remote. plex is the main reason i bought this tv. the plex app works great and isnt sluggish at all. netflix, amazon prime video, and spotify all work great as well. built in wifi connected with no problem. great tv for the price!

Guess I got a bad one
The picture quality on some things was good. On skin tones it was a weird washed out look with no blending of the colors... looked like a poorly done oil painting. It claims to have a 120 refresh rate but my set flickered so badly that it caused me to become physically ill and I could see trials from motion on the screen even in slow scenes where people would just be walking. I am bringing my TV back to Walmart today. I checked my cable box, switched HDMI cables, and even got the same bad picture on my PS4 no matter if the setting where default or not. It is a shame that this TV was such a dud. I do own a 32" Vizio TV that works perfectly and was expecting the same quality from them this time around but that was not the case.

    Great Picture, Fast Smart TV, Horrible Sound
    Set-up is a breeze. The internet apps work fast and there are many that you can add. Note that you can't connect directly to the Internet as if the TV was a browser. Let's be fair that most all flat screen TVs need a soundbar or need to be hooked-up to an audio system, but the sound on this Vizio is horrible, even using the equalizer. Also, if you use the RCA connections be sure to change the settings on the Vizio to work with your audio system. I didn't change them and the preset option did not send any sound to my audio system. I read the manual to figure it out. The picture on this TV is great, but you can't manually adjust the screen to a custom setting, you can only choose between 6 preset settings. Although they work well, if you are able to handle the extreme brightness on one end to a darker setting without any in betweens, then you'll be very satisfied. Overall it is a good Smart TV for a fair price.

    I have been shopping for just the right tv to fit in an entertainment center that is the perfect match to my apartment. I was looking for the most bang for the buck. This vizio e43 is the perfect match. I knew I wanted at least 120hz refresh and 1080 also great wifi. This tv has it all in spades. I had exactly 38 9/16" of space and not a speck more. I actually went to the store and measured the tv to make sure the online specs were right. You can get a quarter between the tv and the sides of the entertainment center. Absolutely perfect fit. Everyone is blown away by the picture quality. With the 120 refresh even dark and foggy edged shots that would have that "halo" effect around the edges are razor sharp. It's like looking out a spotlessly clean window not at a tv screen. One friend with a tv he paid $3000.00 for several years ago is jealous and can't believe the quality for the price that vizio offers in the E series tv. I couldn't be happier and have the perfect setup now that I never thought I could get for such a great price. Awesome tv with all the bells and whistles...Don't sit there anymore reading reviews.. Go get one yourself

    Great TV Poor HDMI Positions
    TV is great except for HDMI positions. 1 Located on side with USB great position. The other 2 are behind the TV up and down in a cavity, instead of straight out like my older VISIO. Does NOT accomodate Roku sticks, chromecast etc. These must be put on the side, so there is a lot switching back and forth because of only 1 HDMI. But don't let this stop you from buying. Excellent picture. Sound is what you would expect from a thin unit. I have a small living room so it's ok for me. Great wireless reception. Great antenna reception. I use only streaming and antenna. Very lightweight, easy to move and clean behind.

    Great purchase
    Easy and quick set up. Found all my cable channels in seconds and worked with my cable remote without having to find and enter a code. I'm not a picture expert but this has a very good picture right out of the box. The wide spaced feet are different and I wondered if it would fit on my cabinet. My TV is on a 36 in. cabinet and the feet are about 1 1/2 in. from each side. Very pleased with TV and price.

    Great TV, Perfect picture!
    I did a lot of research before buying this TV and I'm replacing a 5 yr old Vizio 32" in my living room, old Vizio moved to the bedroom, so I'm very familiar with Vizio TV's. Easy set-up, took 5 minutes and I was in business, but it took me 1.5 hours to fine tune the picture to MY tastes, but now, all I can say is WOW!! Everybody who see's this says the same thing, WOW, what a great picture, beautiful TV. The only troubles I had were...(1) Hooking up to internet. I have Comcast 50mbps high speed but the TV wouldn't connect until I noticed the WPS option on my screen. I have a WPS reset button on my modem, so I clicked the WPS option on screen then the WPS button on my modem, and 3 seconds later, I was internet connected! EASY!! (2) The legs on this 43" TV are 33" apart and my TV stand is 32" wide, so I reversed the legs facing 'inside' and the were only 29" apart and easily fit on my 32" stand. This looks a little weird but is just as sturdy as legs facing out, but it works for me! In summation, this is a great TV at a great price and everything is perfect (so far). All the Internet Apps work perfect and seamlessly in streaming movies or TV shows, etc. I will reccomend the Vizio E-Series to everyone shopping for a new TV. I'm a very happy customer!!

    Internet Connection Issues
    Works Great now.I connected to my home network by signing in with my username and password.Started having all kinds of problems as others have described.Went into my router settings and found the option to add a device using WPS The tv also supports this. after using this method everything works great

    Price was good BUT
    Brought the TV home set it up but it would not connect to the Internet. called Vizio and they said that in SOME of the batch were sent out with with a bad internal Internet card and they would come to my house and replace the TV I was Afraid they would bring a Refurnished TV so I just took the TV back and went to Brandsmart and got a SONY...Not that is was Walmart fault the TV was bad Walmart was great about the return.

    Nice picture, but not "Smart"
    First off I'll say that this TV has a very nice picture and it's hard to find a TV in this price range with a 120hz refresh rate. The audio quality is OK too, but you'd be better off with a sound bar. So, if you're looking for a value priced TV with a great picture then this is it. Now, for the bad part. The internet apps aka the "Smart" part of this TV is terrible. The software is buggy and it crashes and freezes often. Additionally, when I try to use an app, like Netflix, it either freezes or tells me I'm not connected to the network even though I am. So, if you are looking for a TV for streaming video and other online content, then I would say look some where else.
