If you love your car, spend a few buck more
I am a millennial with a passion for automobiles, and a deep background in the auto industry since childhood. I keep my car in perfect condition and I know that with proper maintenance anyone can get 200K miles on most any non-turbo engine. The biggest part of achieving that mark is getting the best oil you can, and changing it at the manufacturer's recommended intervals (regardless of how long the oil manufacturer says it lasts). This is the best overall product for your engine. Oil is only as strong as its weakest link, and Mobil 1 covers all the bases.

Highest Percentage of Group IV PAO
Don't know what a group IV PAO is? Google "Group IV synthetic motor oils". Check out the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) from Mobil on this product and you'll see it's ONLY the 0W-20 Extended Performance (Not the Advanced Fuel Economy) that has 60%-70% of the homopolymer 1-decane. The same product line, Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-20 doesn't come close to this high percentage of Group IV PAO. Why does this matter? 1-decane is made as a 10 carbon chain polymer that is truly man made which means a more consistent molecule size/shape running through your engine. Pairs well with the Mobil 1 Extended Performance M1-110A for my newer Hondas. Why 110A versus 110? 110A was redesigned to extend filter life to 20,000 miles from the 110 version which was protection to 15,000 miles.

Cuts oil changes in half, amazing in winter
M1 EP 0w-20 is the best mass market oil available, with high performance base stocks assuring good oil flow even in extreme low temperature conditions, and is certified by all of the major automakers for gasoline engines. It's also an amazing value. Mobil runs bi-annual rebates making it about the same price as conventional oil, and that is before you consider you need to change the oil half as often! As soon as our warranty was up, we switched to extended oil changes/extended filters, about 13K (2x the maintenance minder) on our Hondas, and 12-15K on our Subarus and Fords. I can attest that Mobil's claims of 15K life are valid. Even at about 13K under average driving conditions on a Honda V6, lab analysis showed over 5K of life remaining in the oil (don't go beyond the recommendations without checking your oil's condition). If you drive in severe conditions that might not apply. Winter starts are effortless, and we have had no problems down to -35F (coldest in our area). If you drive in upper midwest or Canadian conditions, your car will start even without a block heater. 0w-20EP is rated to a -68F pour point. It works equally well in Texas summer heat. I have not noticed any excess oil consumption either, but it's a good idea to check levels frequently and top off especially with long intervals. M1-EP tends to get very dark near the end of its life. That's a good thing, it means that ultra fine particulate is suspended in the oil rather than adhering to your engine walls. There is no downside to using this oil if your engine is in good condition. During a recent service our mechanic commented that the engine interior parts looked brand new, with no discernible wear or sludge, even after 100K miles. We have used M1 AFE (in warranty) or M1 EP (past warranty) in all of our vehicles.

    Amazing Oil... Amazing Base Stock
This is probably the best oil you can get for the money. It has an amazing additive package and outstanding base stock. This is up there with the higher priced synthetic oils available in the market. My 2008 Toyota Highlander recommends 5w-30 but, that was in 2008. Now, in 2006 the 2GR-FE which is the same base engine still powering the new 2016 + models require 0W-20. So, I made the switch. Couldn't be happier. Better fuel economy, and less stress on the oil pump. This is AMAZING oil. You won't regret making the switch. I still change my own oil every 5000 miles, but this thing can hold it's own and I'm pretty sure it can hit the 15,000 miles without a hitch. Call me old school but I like changing my oil. With that being said, I'm sure a few of you will just say, that I'm throwing money down the drain. Oh, well, that's your opinion. My fuel-ups are more expensive than buying this online... and you don't see anyone complaining.

I will never use anything else again.
I always used Mobil 1 until I started watching commercials and reading reviews about Pennzoil Platinum and how better it was. So I used it and it made my engine sound really loud and the RPM's high. As soon as it was time too change the oil I went running and got Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W-20 and thank God I did. My engine is back too running nice and quiet. RPM's are back too low. And my car is back too running nice and smooth. I will never cheat on Mobil 1 ever again.

Mobil 1 - Always among the best oils on the market
I've been using Mobil 1 for over 20 years. The reason I chose Mobil 1 and have stuck with it is pretty simple. Unlike other oil blender/manufacturers who engage in silly marketing gimmicks (4-Ball wear tests etc) and performance claims that are often irrelevant, Mobil 1 has maintained a higher level of professionalism when it comes to marketing their oil and performance claims. Their product data sheets are among the best, and are always up to date, clean and professional. Their website is great and full of very good information. The testing ExxonMobil puts their oil through is impressive and the videos are informative. There are many good brands of oil on the market, but I feel Mobil 1 consistently is at the top in overall performance and a class act when it comes to marketing. As far as the Mobil 1 0w20 EP oil, I've noticed no oil consumption with this oil over the oil change interval I have followed. While many factors contribute to oil consumption, such as low tension rings, how the vehicle is driven etc, Mobil 1 oils tend to have a lower NOACK volatility than other brands, which also contributes to a reduction in oil consumption.

    Outstanding!!!
I have a 08 Camry; always been using fully synthetic motor oil, but this one after I put in this stuff , my engine is running so smooth, doesn't hesitate, increased my mpg and overall it just performs very well and I'll keep on using this product along with Extended Performance oil filter.

Works Great in 2015 Corolla ECO
Have a 2015 Corolla ECO with the CVT transmission with 4,000 miles. I had the factory oil changed at 3,000 miles at the Exxon-Mobil station. This vehicle MUST use 0W-20 synthetic according to Toyota. There is now almost no engine noise and fuel economy is about 44 mpg on the highway.

    Reliability & Performance
I have been using Mobile 1 Extended Performance 0W-20 oil since Day One. After 286k miles our 2009 Hyundai Sonata runs like the day it was new. I change oil and filter every 6-7k miles. The engine runs so silently I often turn the key to start by accident when the car is running. There are no leaks, although we do add a half quart between changes sometimes. Maybe someday we'll switch to Mobil 1 High Mileage but certainly not until something changes. I cannot recommend this product highly enough!
