Sofa sleeper
Great looking and extra bonus is the bed. Will probably add some eggshell foam as the mattress is thin but that was expected after reading other reviews. Would definitely recommend for a small space.

AVOID THIS SLEEPER SOFA!!! IF YOU ARE JUST LOOKING FOR A SMALL, PRETTY COMFORTABLE LOVE SEAT THEN THIS IS A GOOD DEAL, HOWEVER, IF YOUR INTERESTED IN THE SLEEPER PORTION OF THIS UNIT...DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. THE MATTRESS IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. WHEN YOU TOUCH THE MATTRESS YOU DON'T FEEL FOAM, YOU JUST FEEL SPRINGS. THE MATTRESS ITSELF SEEMS TO BE STUFFED WITH METAL SPRINGS, HARDLY ANY FOAM. MY SON TOOK THE MATTRESS OFF AND SLEPT STRAIGHT ON THE FRAME OF THE BED AND WAS ALOT MORE COMFY. WE HAD TO REPLACE THE SO CALLED MATTRESS WITH A REAL MATTRESS. I WOULD AVOID THIS SLEEPER SOFA!!!

    Great for kids
    This is perfect for what we wanted it for. Kids are 5&7. We wanted something for their playroom that didn't take up a lot of space. Needed something they could sit on when they play the Wii or watch movies but could fold out into a bed when they have sleepovers. The mattress is truly awful, and you can feel every spring but kids are light and don't seem to care. I just lay a quilt down with a fitted sheet on top of that and they sleep great all night. As a couch, it's not the most comfortable but it's not bad. Once again, kids don't care. We wanted something cheap and functional and this fit the bill. Faux leather is nice because kids are messy and it's easy to wipe down. Wouldn't want it for my living room but it works great for what we purchased it for.

    Would've been a great purchase if not broken.
    The ordering and delivery process was simple but upon opening it after delivery I had noticed that the wooden frame of the futon was actually broken in two spots. I'm not sure if it was broken before shipped or if it was broken during the shipping process. I would've sent it back right away but unfortunately I needed this futon a few days later for guests (which is why I ordered it in the first place) and I wouldn't have been able to accommodate my guest if I had sent it back because I needed it a couple of days later. For the price of the futon + shipping I could've purchased a much better product from a local furniture company for a few dollars more and would've been getting a much nicer and more durable product. Lesson learned..... If you order this product I suggest picking it up from a local store instead of having it delivered. That way you know what you are getting and you're not paying a ridiculous price for a sub par product.

    I did not expect much but I was happily surprised
    I purchased this sofa be for extra seating and sleeping space in my home office. It needed to be small and I didn't have much of a budget. I did not expect to be so happy with it. It looks good and is comfortable for seating. I haven't used it yet as a bed. Overall, I am really very happy with it. One screw did not thread, but other than that it wasn't hard to put together.

    More than my moneys worth
    I first bought a futon from a "big box" store, it was very heavy, but great looking. After a little over a month, the adjustment apparatus wouldn't allow me to set it anymore, so I returned it, then searched for a replacement at several stores with no luck. (I needed something that converted to a bed for my small apartment) My last stop was Walmart before I quit for the day, and when I saw this sofa bed, I was extremely pleased. It cost much less than the futon, and for $30 more, I also purchased the matching recliner. The assembly was minimal, and the size was compact enough to fit both pieces in my 10ft x 12ft living/bedroom. Two pieces of great looking, inexpensive, easy to assemble, compact furniture with 4 functions. What an amazing deal! I couldn't be happier.

    Convenient Space Saver for a Great Price
    If you are looking for something with a small foot print but can easily be turned into a comfortable bed, then this is for you. Like other reviewers, I should note that the mattress is incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on. However, that was easily solved by laying a 1.5 inch mattress pad on it. In addition, you can still fold it back to the couch position with the mattress pad. The assembly was easy and took about 30 minutes by myself.

    Nice for the Price
    This fits really nicely in my small apartment living room. I like the leather look because the cat hair will wipe off easily. A friend put this together for me and he had only a little trouble, possibly because the black makes it hard to see details. The mattress is horrible. Very thin and you can practically see the springs. However, for less than $300 what can you expect? I will replace it with something nicer before I expect my guest to arrive in November. In all, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

    Nice addition to the home office.
    Very nice looking sofa for our office. It is comfortable to sit on and feels like leather but I would think only a young adult could sleep on the sofa bed. Mattress doesn't appear thick enough for an older adult. It was a little hard to put together!

    Good for the money
    I did not spend much so was not expecting much. No disappointment, it actually was sturdier than I expected. There is no back support but with a small pillow is fine. Easy to put together. Looks nice in our kids tv/workout room. I would not use it in a main living area but for a dorm room or play room it is great.
