worth the money
Wasn't really sure how durable it would be. once I put it together (about 20 minutes to do so) I fell in love with it after I loaded it up with car parts. glad I bought it cause it holds up to the weight that I have on it. if your needing a rack for your garage, I would recommend this one hands down!

A Waste Of Time And Money
I just bought this and I'm taking it back tomorrow. The basic design is good. Their idea for connection the upper and lower section is horrible. I can't understand why they would use such a bad design for that when the rest of the design is pretty good. I'm posting a photo of the way they connect the upper and lower sections. I can't get the upper and lower supports to slide into the connector. Apparently that is as far as it will go. Others have commented about this poor design. If customer service explains what I'm doing wrong within 24 hours I might keep it.

It was relatively easy to put together with minimal confusion due to how small the instructions are but otherwise it is a great product.

Well priced and reasonable storage rack
This storage rack is well priced and reasonable. It serves purpose of efficient storage in the garage or basement. I will be honest that this is not one of the best quality storage rack especially those available in the stores that are quite sturdy. But for household usage this does serve the purpose.

    Nice idea, lousy execution.
Cheap shelves on which you'd NEVER want to put 800 pounds...two of them broke corners being installed. Upright pieces are OK, but the joining pieces are junk. Do yourself a favor, toss the joiners and simply bolt the uprights together. Not very impressive.

Edsel's smaller racks NOT as stable
Earlier, I bought two of the LARGER Edsal racks that measure 36 x 24 x 72. Those can be a little more frustrating than expected to assemble but are worth the effort because they are MUCH stronger in how the vertical supporting frame bars are connected in the middle. The SMALLER Edsal racks that I bought - 36 x 18 x 60 - have a silly, flimsy connector that only create very loose connections in the middle of the rack for the both ends of the vertical supporting frame bars. If you have the room, and the price is right, buy the LARGER Edsal racks. The smaller racks, in my opinion, will NOT support the weight they are supposedly rated. ONE SOLUTION for the smaller rack is to use bolts to connect two of the smaller racks together, either side by side or front to back. Two together are stronger AND safer than just one by itself. You are taking a risk that could result in collapse of the rack AND injury if you're nearby if you believe the weight ratings for the SMALLER Edsal racks and try and put that much weight on there.

    Piece of Junk
I recently ordered 3 of these racks. All arrived in boxes that were beat up, and one appeared to have been a return from someone else and had just been re-taped. All three had badly damaged corners on the fibreboard shelves....crumbles from the shelves fell out of each box and the corners were all damaged. One box, the one that looked like a prior return, had missing and incorrect pieces in it. This was a smaller size than the others and required special brackets. There should have been 4 brackets, there were only 3, and the 3 I did have were not the ones that fit this product. The boxes all come with a flyer instructing you to contact the manufacturer if you need assembly help....I called, no one answered, I was prompted to leave a message, I did and no one has ever called back. I called my local Walmart store and complained and am returning the product......just goes to show, you get what you pay for...what looked like a good value was in fact, not, and is a big hassle on top of that....product is junk. Very disappointed.

    Great Product
I received these shelves very quickly. I was disappointed at the condition they arrived. The boxes were ripped open, so a few of the foot protectors were missing. These are not essential to building the shelves, so I didn't call Walmart to complain. These shelves are very easy to put together. I completed 2 of them by myself within 30 minutes. They look great in my garage... holding tool boxes, lawn & garden supplies, etc.

I bought one, put it in the garage workbench style to hold soft and water cases with tubs of kids' outdoor toys under. I liked the fit and sturdiness so much I ordered another. I use it for gardening stuff and tasks. The shelves are sturdy, easy to put together and flexible (horizontal or vertical arrangement).

    Lool no further!!
This is a very well designed and easy to assemble!! These shelves are very sturdy and will last a long time. I bought two of these for a storage unit that we rent, we also have a larger one for the garage which has lasted for years. My sister and her husband have three of the larger ones in their basement and just luv them!
