It bothers me that the Atlas already had exterior folds and damage due to mishandling and packaging. Get your game face on! Step it up! This is total BS. I ordered a new Atlas because mine was over 10 years old and needed updating. Would you like a picture of my 10 year old Atlas that I purchased from Wal-Mart? Probably not. Pretty close to pristine condition. Step it up!

    Great Atlas with larger print
The larger size maps and print are great. I especially like the larger city maps and the back inside cover that has the large mileage/time map. It is bigger than the regular Atlas, but we feel it is worth it.

I am a map lover, so I was looking forward to this. It did not disappoint with large, easy-to-read maps that provide clear information. There is also a section on exploring our National Parks. The spiral binding is nice as the book will lay flat, and it is much easier to maneuver (especially in a car). GPS may guide your route, but to have the total overall picture of where you are going is a benefit that large, tactile maps provide.

    Nice atlas.
I liked the detail afforded by the large scale view. I hadn't bought a new atlas in many, many years and knew for sure it wouldnt be the same as I remembered, but it had not changed all that much and I was glad. A nice addition was the section on the national parks.

    Divided states per page
I like the larger print, but it is a trade for having one state on each page. It is confusing to have one state split up between 2-4 pages. I would prefer one state per page with smaller print. Otherwise, great detail and well put together!

    Great buy
Great Atlad. Has good info in larger type. East to read for Old Goobers like me. BUT, it is a large "book" and a bit heavy to walk around with or carry in the front seat of your car.

It's just as described. I like the spiral rib because it can open up flat. Very big and a little heavy but if you have the space for it I would recommend it.

Paper Maps: What Folks Used in the Olden Days!
Are you lost? Are you confused by those newfangled Google machines? Are you unhappy with that condescending tone the GPS lady uses with you? Well, this the book for you. Needs no batteries or internet connection! It was good enough for your grandfather, its good enough for you! You know Lewis and Clark made it all the way across North America and they didnt even have maps. They had to stop and ask American Indians for directions!

Great for finding your way across the U.S
Excellent source of maps and other information concerning travel. Road Atlas has always been my choice when traveling. Great accuracy and dependability.
