A Fabulous Multi-Purpose Product
20 Mule Team is a powerhouse that will boost cleaner and detergent performance and lift tough odors in the process. This is a frequent use product in my household. Borax is a salt. I use it beyond laundry and cleaning. I sprinkle a few tablespoons into shoes and boots (wear socks!) to keep them nice. I add it to tub and foot soaks, too, along with Epsom salts. Sprinkled on a wet cloth, it'll freshen your shower stall in a jiffy. And over carpets, lightly brush with a clean broom, allow to sit 10 min and vacuum to lift odors and freshen. It's a stand alone that can be used as an abrasive or liquid or added to other products. You can touch it with your bare skin and there are not toxic fumes to contend with. GREAT STUFF!

danger costly drain clog!
do NOT buy/use it does NOT dissolve! could easily cause serious drain clog!!! also it does NOT remove hard water stains does nothing leaves a residue on laundry useless for cleaning and will clog a drain turns into "concrete"

    I guess good for what it is. No scent.
    It has no scent. Does it brighten up the clothes? Maybe a little. If you dissolve Borax in the water and leave it for a day with an item you wanted to wash, it will crystallize later on item you left it with.

    Mule team has been used for cleaning 4yrs
    I love this. I use it for cleaning plus can be used for prewash treatments for stains! I also mix 1 box mule team, 1 box washing soda, 3 bars grated feels naptha or zote, all in container... and use for laundry detergent. you use 1 tbsp or 2 tbsp for large loads. It cleans wonderfully. you can also add scent beads, baking soda.... to the mix. I use Epsom salt with lavender essential oils as natural scent "beads".... vinegar mixed half

    MANY uses for a single time tested product
    Best stuff ever for adding to the wash to get clothes really clean! also works to clean bathroom sinks, tubs and overnight soak in the toilet will amaze you (be sure to close the lid it is toxic to pets who may drink from the bowl) it is a wonderful pre-soak and so many uses even in the garden! look online for all the things it works on! it has been around for this many years with good reason!

    TRY IT -- You'll LOVE it!
    I only recently discovered borax. I don't know why I hadn't tried it before. I keep a container in the laundry room. It makes SUCH a difference. I don't know if my washer is not great, but, for whatever reason, my clothes are much cleaner (and smell fresher) after washing a load with the addition of Borax. I have a steam mop, and the microfiber pads get so filthy. If I don't use Borax when I wash them, they never seem to get clean.
