Cowboy Bike
Bought this bike for my 6 yr old son for Christmas, he wanted a motorcycle but of course he is too young for that and we have no where ride something like that. I found this bike on Walmart that had big boy motorcycle tires on it. He loved this bike and was so excited. Best bike, I do think that it is pricey but it is well made.

Mongoose Kong is a nice bike.
So I bought this bike for my 8 year son who really wanted a fat bike because his 10 year old brother had gotten one from the local Walmart (Mongoose BMaX). The only thing he wanted a blue one & only the Kong is available in blue from anyone that I could find without breaking the bank. At $208.82 (included tax) online with free shipping you can't beat the price.
So the bad it took forever to get the bike. I choose to have it shipped to our house because having it go to the store the site said it would have been 2 weeks & shipping to our house was 1. It acutally took 10 days. When the bike the box was taped up but the box wasn't damaged. After opening it everything looked. Took about 10 minutes to put together. It was really easy. After my son rode all I had to do was adjust the handle bars & sit for him.
Now comparing the Mongoose Kong to the BMAX. The Kong seems lighter with disc brakes, mud/all terrain tires, drilled wheels, mountain bike handle bars & 7 speeds is nice. As for the BMaX it has street tires, regular brakes, BMX handle bars & single speed. As for the frames the BMAX seems a little longer. I plan on doing a YouTube video later to compare them because it seems that no one has done it yet.
Over all I would recommend both bikes.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/05/2016Cool BikeThis bike is really well built. We bought it for our son who was turning 7. He is 48" tall and is able to straddle the frame while touching the ground with no problem. The brakes rubbed a little at first, but I was able to adjust them and everything is fine. Every where we ride it he gets "wows", and "cool bike"., from adults and kids a like.SMDG

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/03/2016great bike, walmart not the bestThe 1st "bike" was delivered pretty fast except it was not a bike it was a bed!? They replaced my son's bike w a new order which got lost in transit. A THIRD BIKE had to be ordered and i finally recieved it the day before my son's 9th bday. He loves it so the hassle was worth it.mommyof5

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/18/2015Fun bikeFor he price this is a great bike. Not super high end, but well worth the Money. Was easy to put together. Good instructions and lots of ways to adjust brakes for little people to reach the hand levers. We are a huge bike family and spend most down time on bikes. We bought these for our 4 year old twins that are riding BMX and pump tracks every weekend. The idea was to keep the fun rolling through the winter with some fat tracks in the snow and mud ! 5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/22/2015Excellent bike!Picked up at store and assembled at home. Everything was very well packaged and undamaged, even though the box was messed up a bit. This is an awesome bike, sharp looking and rides well. Perfect for a very short, older person, just getting into biking on trails. Kids would absolutely love it.Granof17

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/16/2015Best Fat Bike for a kid!!!!!!!!I bought this for my 5 year old son who already had the Mongoose Massif. He wanted this one because it had mud tires. I feel like the Mongoose Kong is noticeably lighter than his Massif was and overall better built. It looked like it was easier for him to ride compared to the Massif. Not to say the Massif isn't a great bike. It was easy to assemble and only took about 10 minutes. I made a video unboxing and first ride if you search for Mongoose Kong on YouTube. I have zero complaints about this bike and feel like it was a great buy and will provide many years of good riding for him.RealCamperfosho
