Great product, very happy with my purchase
A friend of mine had these and after trying them out I really wanted a set of my own. Working out at home with these is great. They don't take up much space and give plenty of flexibility in choosing resistance. A little bulky but it's a small issue you quickly get used to. Stand is definitely worth purchasing too. I also have the bowflex kettlebell and regularly use both the dumbbells and kettlebell. Very happy I purchased them.

Cheaply made
Loved these weights when we first got them back in may. I ordered them in January and had to wait about 4 months to receive them, which was ok because all exercise equipment was in high demand. However, 3 months later the paint is chipping off of the weights. I'm assuming that because of the high demand the quality was reduced but I wouldn't expect this of an almost $400 product.

I only have a 12' x 12' home gym space so having these dumbbells saves me much needed space. And waaay cheaper than piecing out each weight size! The select dial turns easily but is still sturdy, trustworthy, and obvious when a selection is made correctly. Returning the weight to the stand is very smooth, no rocking around required like I've seen with imitation products! There is very little noise from the plates while in use, less than my regular adjustable dumbbells, and I sense no movement of the plates when lifting. I love how fast I can switch between weights and, even better, how fast I'm seeing results! Like all of the Bowflex products I've used, the 552 dumbbells are a luxury choice with an economical price tag! #sweepstakes because I'm saving for a VeloCore!Ally K.

It's so easy to use too. I can literally knock out a workout in between commercials or even while cooking. You can't put a price on time after all. My only complaint is that I had to set it up myself, regardless, totally worth it!!Taino

I'm 5"4', a woman and I need to hold my weights with proper grip to avoid finger lock and forearm tention. Cons: so wish, some how, Bowflex could come up with a smaller weight with the dial feature. When I am using 15's for example, I still have to carry a bulky weight because its made to hold all the weights at one time.Jen

They are adjustable from 5-52 pounds, so now I don't have to have a whole bunch of different size weights. That saves me space and money. The only cons are that it isn't expandable, lengthy, and have plastic construction. Otherwise they're easy to use, take up minimal space, and get the job done when strength training. I've heard people say they're dumbbell sets have lasted years with heavy usage despite plastic construction so I'm not worried about it.London
