Easy to adjust
With 11 children and 23 years of car seat usage I can say that the Cosco Easy Elite is by far the easiest to adjust. The leg strap still requires you to unclick the seat from the car but the back shoulder straps are an easy button push away from being slid up or down depending on which sibling is sitting there. MUCH easier than other brands!! What the Cosco lacks in thinner padding it makes up for in ease of use. My son hasn't complained about the thin padding so it must be ok. It can be used for rear facing infants (up to a year) and converted to forward facing after they turn one.

Good for the price
I've had a couple different car seats and the Cosco Easy Elite Slim All-in-One Convertible Car Seat has some features that others don't have. First off it has both forward facing and rear facing anchor points which is nice, currently we're using it as forward facing. One of the coolest features are the 2 cups on the arm rest, they are twist-lock which makes it super easy for removal and cleaning. It does have an adjustable head rest, however there is some wiggle which is concerning All and all it's a pretty good car seat for price.

Relatively easy to install and affordable
This car seat was fairly easy to install, at least via the latch method. If you've worked your fair share of car seats, you probably won't need to look at the manual. It's also quite affordable. For cons, it's not as light as other Cosco models (we use the Scenera Next and it's super easy to fly with). The latches are also that annoying clip type that are much more difficult to remove than ones on more expensive seats, such as Diono's. For pros - its very easy to install and easy to adjust for a given height. I also liked the kickstand on the back for when it flips to front facing. Makes the angle a little bit better for both directions. My daughter didn't have any complaints riding in it. Thankfully, we don't know how it performs in a crash and we hope to never find out. But it seems like a fine car seat overall.

This wouldn't be my first choice, but it does work
This car seat is not very high quality. It does what it needs to do, but the plastic is cheap, The parts that touch the car seat directly seem flimsy. I have no doubt it keeps my grandbabies safe, but this one wouldn't handle being moved from vehicle to vehicle over and over again. We have it strapped in and don't move it.

Not the quality seat we were hoping for
The Cosco Easy Elite Slim car seat is used for rear-facing infants with a weight range of 5-40 pounds. It can also be used forward -facing weight range of 22- 50 pounds or for a big kid booster up to 8- pounds. Unfortunately, this was extremely difficult to install and does not feel that safe. The padding is very thin material and doesn't compared to other brands we use. My family and I would feel more comfortable using this as a big kid booster vs a rear-facing seat.

The Little Things That Mean So Much
There are many small details with this carseat, that made it clear that a group of marketing specialists and product development teams had many meetings to address every little annoyance on past carseats that had, until now, not really been feasible to address. It is still going to be a pain to install a carseat, put a child in, take a child out, and remove a car seat. But there are, what I consider to be, many small improvements that took this to 'impressive' for me. First, its not as heavy and bulky. A slimmer design, which is excellent as 3 can fit in the backseat of a vehicle now. I had 3 in carseats at one time. I still don't know what magic we evoked to make them fit, but we did not remove them until that kids started high school, just in case. :) The next thing I noticed was the improvements on the cushions. They are more individualized, so if one piece gets dirty, you don't have to remove everything. They are very easy to remove and reinstall also. Nice padding around the face and softer material. The wings on either side of the head are sturdy but flexible, a little nicer on the face. As I'm getting ready to attempt the big deal, actually installing it in the car, I notice that there are instructions on either side of the car seat. That is a HUGE deal. When I have to pass the seat off to a grandparent, spending a half hour on the phone trying to walk them thru getting it transferred to their vehicle should earn anyone saint status. They are detailed enough, (with pictures!) that even the least savvy can figure it out. There are still a lot straps and hooks, you have to fit your hand down in the seat and attach a hook in a space roughly the size of a peanut, they get snagged and crossed, and once I'm exhausted I still have to tighten the straps, and sometimes I just don't know where I'm going to get that last bit of strength from. But, eventually the straps are attached, everything appears snug and safe. So I check out any other little added features. My favorite by far. This seat grows with the child. It for real does, not sort of if you don't look too closely. This can be front or rear facing, either way is a contortionists dream to install, but there is a handle that changes the size of the baby area from tiny just coming from the hospital, to well not quite high school, but up until they no longer need a car seat. And it is EASY. Push the button, raise or lower the compartment sizing piece, and the padding and cover even fold in on themselves nicely. We had 4 children. Purchasing new car seats had to be planned for months, it was a major expense. And the fact that it's so easy to change the size, on the fly, with one hand? Genius. A sweet little feature that isn't safety related, but made my heart happy - easy remove cup holders. A simple twist and you can have them out, wiped, and back in, before your little even sits their cup back down. And there's two of them. One for the sippy, one for the cheerios. If a holder for HotWheels could be incorporated some time in the future...? I don't know if someone will ever be able to simplify capturing an arching, fighting baby, getting the strap over their head, latched and tightened, but if they do, you're my hero. These ones work as expected. So many little things that took this up so many needed notches. Plus, the slimmed down version, without sacrificing anything. Kudos to your team, Cosco.

A decent option at a reasonable price
I will start off my saying I'm very picky about car seats. My child's safety isn't negotiable. I was not a fan of this car seat. Nor was my 5-year-old. There's very little padding and the plastic feels thin and not very sturdy. I got it as a backup medievance I would probably only use it as a last minute option. It would be a great option for someone that couldn't afford a more expensive seat. Especially since it is a convertible seat and can forward face up to 100 lb. It just wasn't the right seat for us.

    Great for smaller vehicles
I really like this Elite Slim all-in-one convertible car seat. This space saver seat still allows me to have 3 passengers in the back. You can use this seat rear facing up to 40lbs, forward facing up to 65lbs and then use the booster seat mode for up to 100lbs. It has two cupholders that are removable and dishwasher safe and I love the modern, gender neutral grey pattern.
