Great Tablet, Even Better Price
I received this 10 x 6.25-inch Graphic Drawing Tablet tablet from the Spark Reviewer program to try out and review. I have been very pleasantly surprised at how nice this tablet it. It's drawing screen is quite large and it seems to respond exactly as it is supposed to. I am currently using it with a Windows 10 laptop, mainly in Photoshop Elements 14. There are buttons on the left column called "Express Keys" and they are just that. I tried each one to see how they worked and they're great. Zooming the image I am working on is quick, changing the size of the brush/pen I am working with is simple as is all the rest of the buttons. As with any tablet, it takes a bit to get used to drawing on it and seeing your result on-screen. I have been using a Wacom tablet but had put it away for a while so I find as I keep practicing I am getting better with each attempt. If you have a children who like to draw and don't want to spend too much on a high-end tablet then this is the one for you. For under $75 you can't beat it. Some tablets can be $200 up into the $1000s so this is a great way to find out if a tablet is for you or to get your kids into drawing without spending a large amount. I plan to continue to experiment with this, drawing and creating art, painting my photographs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tablet especially my art friends and family.

Sleek, well made drawing tablet
I was quite impressed with this tablet right out of the box. It is sleekly designed with a hefty stylus pen and its own resting stand. I really didn't find any use for the stand, but it makes a neat stand for a glass sphere I already had. The program was extremely easy to install, anyone could do it, even if one isn't computer savvy. It was super simple, and self-explanatory. I really liked that the installation program didn't try to force anything unrelated to the drawing tablet like Google Chrome, Yahoo toolbars or generic PC tune-ups. The handwriting analysis was pretty accurate, but it could be better. Cool that it also can read/translate cursive writing. Also it made playing video games like Fiesta Online very easy and quite fun. Depending on the price, this product has the potential to replace smartboards touch pads that schools use and could save money. On the downside, over the pad was way too sensitive, for me, at least. I found I couldn't use the pen/brush pencil sizing quick buttons in the Paint Program. When holding the stylus tip to the pad the circle popup was very annoying. I mentioned before, the stylus cradle. Here is why I didn't care for it. It was not convenient and too big and bulky, especially when storing the tablet in a neoprene laptop case I have for its storage. It does, however, have an open space inside it for extra battery storage. The stylus and cord fit fine it the tablet case I had bought separately, thanks to the slight curve that the tablet body has. It created just enough of a void in the case to allow for its storage. Improvements to the tablet would be to have a case come with, or at least suggest a suitable case to buy separately. Overall the tablet is a very nice thing to own.

Large tablet with lots of configurable buttons!
I adore this tablet. Great driver installation, reasonable build quality, great features (including fully configurable hardware software buttons) at an affordable price. Did I mention the surface area for this tablet is huge for the price? Jump off the Wacom bandwagon and give yourself a tablet worth recommending.

    awesome drawing tablet
I highly recommend this tablet is way better than the wacom tablet that is 79 dlrs. This one is 39dlrs and is bigger the pen response is faster and also response really good to the pen pressure. So far I'm really impressed about the quality of the product. Great value and quality!

Great Tablet for a Great Price
I recently purchased this tablet and I have to say that I am in love with it! It's light weight, has a good size, the pen is really nice, and I love the buttons on the side which really help me to draw easily. I heard some reviews saying that it doesn't function as a mouse but it does. The product comes with an instruction manual that is easy to read and understand. By reading it, you can easily figure out how to use the pen as a mouse. I am so glad I purchased this tablet. It's a good investment for a low price and I would recommend it to anyone.

    Excellent Product! ... Excellent Price!
I am a math tutor. and I needed a device that would allow me a way to easily work math problems using the online interface (supplied by Wyzant tutoring). This device is perfect for me. The setup is quick and simple, and use of it is almost self explanatory. Other devices are priced much higher, and most of them have a much smaller active screen area. This on has a very large area (10 x 6.25). The pressure needed when writing on the pad with the pen, is not much different than when writing with a regular pen. I am so pleased with this product. One thing to note. For Windows, the supported OS is windows XP, 7, and 8 ... The specifications said windows XP and higher. It could be that Windows 8 was the highest available when product was manufactured. So if you need to use this on Windows 10 or higher, you would want to research to find out if that OS supports this device.

    I LOVE THIS!
I am completely obsessed with this tablet! This is my first ever drawing tablet, and it's really efficient with introducing a beginning artist to digital art! The pen pressure sensitivity is awesome, and the hot keys and cells are just amazing. I thought that this tablet would come with some annoying things here and there, but it came with everything I expected and more! It was difficult at first to get used to not looking at where you are drawing, but it comes second nature to me now. And I've only had it for a couple of weeks! I'll post some pictures that I've drawn with this tablet. Overall, these are my favorite things about it: -THE HUGE SURFACE! -The three button pen system -hot keys -smooth texture on the face -lightweight and travel-friendly -heftiness of the pen I definitely recommend buying this tablet, especially for beginning artists! Excellent large enough screen.
First time for me owning a drawing tablet, so I can't compare it to any other brand. However for the $41.99 and free shipping I don't think I could go wrong with it. I like that it's a large enough area to work in. I haven't worked with it too much as of yet, as I want to install my photo shop first. I tested it using windows paint and works really well. However I first tried to use it with paint.net and it kept throwing out weird vertical lines out of nowhere, so it appears paint.not might have a few problems that makes it not compatible. However if you intend on using a drawing tablet it's most likely you will have a descent drawing program installed at some time in the near future. Some earlier purchasers reported that they received 2 pens mine came with 1, however not complaining. I would have preferred if the pen didn't require a battery. Although I have no idea of the average batter life as of yet. I just find products that use batteries for drawing tablets is kind of unwarranted, since other inexpensive technologies are easily incorporated without a battery requirement. Maybe even some sort of rechargeable pen? (I just don't like throwing disposable batteries out). Over all I highly recommend this product, but please note it takes a little bit of time to learn the in's and out's in regards to settings. I was provided two user manuals, which were very extensive, and detailed as well as a driver installer disc. Instructions say to install software before plugging in the tablet, I jumped ahead and plugged in first then installed the driver. But for me it didn't poise any problems. However I would follow recommended installation procedures.

Good Drawing Tablet but not mouse replacement
The Monoprice Graphics drawing tablet is very thin and light. I was expecting a thick heavy tablet and was surprised by how light it is (1 lb, 6 oz.). It measures 14” by 9.5”. It comes with a 23 page printed user's manual that covers the use, set-up, and maintenance of the tablet and the pen. I had no problem installing the software on my Lenovo AIO with Windows 10. I don't have any Apps or programs that require a drawing tablet like this one, but saw somewhere that this tablet could replace all your mouse functions and wanted to try that out. It appears that the combination of the pen tip and the two buttons can do what a mouse can do. And I tried to get used to that change. The tablet can sit easily in your lap and the pen is recognized when you get to about an inch of the tablet surface. But you have to move great distances on the 10 inch tablet to cover all of your devices screen with the tablet where a small movement with a mouse accomplishes the same thing. The manual says that you can use only a portion of the 10 inch screen but I could not get that to work. There are a row of quick function buttons on the left side of the screen that can be programed to do many functions but they do not light up and can't be seen easily. I think that if you need a good drawing tablet, this would probably work well. But as a replacement for your mouse, it doesn't work for me.

    Monoprice 10 X 6.25 Graphic Drawing Tablet
The Monoprice Graphic Tablet 10 x 6.25 is an entry level drawing tablet and is reasonably priced and feature filled. Professional graphic drawing tablets can cost up to four thousand dollars. This drawing tablet is a great choice for a student or a beginner. What comes in the box and how is it supposed to work? The product comes nicely packaged and includes the 10 x 6.25 graphic tablet, wireless graphic pen, mini USB cable app. 4.9 feet long, a pen holder, a CD with drivers and software, a 23 page Windows user's manual and also includes one triple A battery. The computer systems that will run the software that allows the tablet to function include Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 (32-&64-bit) The 23 page user manual is in English only and has many illustration's and is well written and easy to follow. The graphic tablet and pen work like a mouse and allow you to point and click in a similar way. Think of trading your mouse for a pen. The pen is a more natural way to write and or draw. The software loaded and ran without issue but left me wondering where was the drawing area was? Turns out you will need to open a draw friendly program like Windows Draw or Gimp then use the pen and tablet to draw with. The tablet has many custom features and hot keys and are described in the user's manual. I first used my tablet to trace an image I found on a Christmas card. By transferring the image on the card to vellum then placing it on the tablet drawing area I traced the image with the drawing pen onto Windows Draw. I now had a digitized tracing that I could embellish or modify. My freehand drawing still needs work and from everything I have read it may take some time and practice to acquire the proper technique to get the desired results. The tablet is well worth the asking price and is full of features and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an entry level graphic drawing tablet

Great graphic tablet for everyday use
The Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet brings me back to my college days when I worked on a lot of computer graphics for projects – graphic renderings and various artworks submitted to the Art Director/College Professor. I used to own a smaller Mac WACOM tablet and that one with its limited size took a lot of hand re-adjusting just to get the pen pointed back on the tablet. What I like about the Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet is the artboard size and how thin and light the tablet is. The tablet is a lot bigger than what I'm used to and picking up where I left off from my college days was a snap. The Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet has all the features a Graphic Artist would need. The touch-sensitive pen uses one AAA battery and the pen is not rechargeable. I have seen more expensive graphic tablets in the market that features rechargeable pens (sits in its charging base) and with a lighted artboard. This is not a negative towards the Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet. I think this is a great buy for college students and for home use. The graphic tablet is big enough for use but compact enough to carry in your backpack or bag. The only issue I see that I ran into using this Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet is the USB cord length. Most of the time the computer is on the ground and running the cord from your graphic tablet to your computer would require a longer USB cord. I have to place my desktop computer on my desk just to hook up the graphic tablet cord. I would eventually re-place my desktop computer on the ground and buy a longer cord for this graphic tablet to reach. Overall, I love the Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet. It's all I need. The complete manual, the touch-sensitive pen, the artboard size, the weight, and definitely the price make this Monoprice 10 x 6.25 Graphic Tablet a great buy. This would also make a great gift to your aspiring Graphic Artist at home. I highly recommend this product!
