Very good deal
I was looking for a set of square dishes and so I bought these because they were only $20. They weren't quite as square as I was hoping for and they have a circular base but they look great. My only complaint is the bowls. they are very shallow but wide so if you have liquid in them it's easy to spill. they are more like a deep plate, great for pastas, not for cereal. I've added a picture with one of the bowls.

Packaging, Packaging, Packaging.
I bought this product because I thought it was going to be a wonderful value for the money. The price of purchase is less than what you would spend on a normal night out. In any case, i thought it might be helpful to provide a couple of things i noticed - 1 - Packaging is horrible. When i say packaging, I mean it is packed to tightly for a set so delicate (and it is very delicate) which of course caused the contents of the package to arrive broken... Twice. I returned the first set and decided it was too much of a hassle to return the second so i just kept it. 2 - Be patient with the dishes (in other words, do not treat them like your typical run on the mill dishes - they cant withstand the usually beating that other dishes might be able to handle 3 - I would advise against serving kids with it. 4 - Wash them thoroughly before use. All in all, as I don't intend to use this for a long time, I would say that the value is not bad at all.

    Great value, so far so good
    I've been looking for white dinnerware for several months now and stumbled on this set through another website. Reviews on that website gave it excellent reviews and mentioned the price was better at Walmart. Much to my delight, Walmart had two sets for the price of one in a bundle package. So far, the dinnerware has been excellent. I really enjoy using it and did not have any problems with defects in the various pieces. I would like to have been able to purchase the set without so many bowls and mugs and/or with the option of purchasing luncheon plates, but that doesn't diminish my satisfaction with the product. Great value for a set that matches the quality of more expensive options. It goes great with any season or table decoration and can be used for dressy occasions or casual. Also, the shape of the mugs is very contemporary.

    Great for the price
    I got 3 sets of this so I would have a set of 12 total. Since so many reviews said they got broken in shipping, I opted for store pickup and they all arrived perfect. Overall I am very happy with the plates and cups, the bowls however are more in line with what I call spaghetti plates. A plate with just enough curve to it to keep the sauce in the center of the plate. Not true bowls. Oh - and my dishwasher has bowl racks on the top shelf. These are too tall and the top most washing bar runs into them, so can only use the 2 slots on the far sides where the top washer bar doesn't reach. So I may end up purchasing actual bowls to go with this set. Other than that - very pleased especially for the price!

    Amazing quality for an amazing price!
    The dishes arrived at the store, packed securely and the guy who helped me at the desk waited patiently while I unpacked both boxes and inspected every dish. All arrived in perfect condition. We were called away from home a day or so after I got the dishes home so I can't write a review about the wear-ability of the dishes but I did hit one on the counter top as I was unloading them and it didn't even chip. I think we will be very happy with these dishes over time. This is a great value as a 16 piece set (4 place settings) for $16.00! I purchased 2 sets and may go back for a third set. The weight of the dishes was important to me and these are just the right balance; not as light weight as Corelle but not as heavy as most stoneware. These dishes are simple enough to use in a casual setting or dress up for more formal occasions. I am happy, happy, happy and would definitely recommend these dishes as a great buy!

    This set is great. Reminds me of neutral diner dishes. Coffee mugs are the perfect size. The bowls are wide and deep. Perfect for cereal and soup. Durability seems to be there. My only complaint is the color. They aren't a soft white. There is almost a grayish tint to them. It stands out in my kitchen because I have cream cabinetry. My old dishes were white however these dishes were a different shade of white. Overall they are a wonderful buy and would purchase again.

    I ordered two sets at the last minutes due additional family visiting. Dinnerware arrived in good time (weekend before Christmas) unpacked the first box, pleased with the quality and style, great starting point to dress up the table, value for money. Dissapointed when second box opened and a plate was broken then the fun began, I packed up the other set and took both sets back to Walmart, I was unaware that the packing slip I needed to return was on the outer box so had to return home and retrieve and then go back again. Unfortunatly the store did not stock the item so I had to return both sets and purchase an alternative set that was more expensive and not as nice, shipping was not refunded which was dissapointing especially when the goods were damaged. I would purchase this set again but would allow plenty of time for mishaps.

    Love them but cup arrived broken
    I love the shape and weight of these dishes but I was very disappointed when one cup arrived broken and one of the plates has a brown mark on the surface. I have not emailed Walmart about these issues yet. If they are corrected I would say they are an excellent buy.

    Pleasantly suprised at the Quality
    Pleasantly suprised at the Quality, the set I recieved had no pitting, are nice wieght and size, and overall an absolute great value at the price. Just be careful if using the bowls in the microwave, although the bowl dosn't get hot, the food does and can be very hard to hold as the heat of the food comes through the bowl, but over all, this set is classy looking and great quality for the low price. Would highly reccomend.
